Has anyone else wondered how the “experts” know that all of our tires aren’t already inflated properly?

I mean, how do you determine how much money we could save if you don’t know how inflated our tires are presently?

I guess what they are really saying is that those people that can’t afford to have JiffyLube give them an oil change every 3 months (because oil drive-through shops check and inflate tires to the proper psi as part of their service) are driving around on under inflated tires because *no one* every checks that!!

Sounds to me like the experts are a bunch of idiots for making such idiotic assumptions….

So it was with the latest round of back-and-forth about gas prices, in which Barack Obama made the eminently reasonable suggestion that among the things we could all do to improve our gas mileage is keep our tires properly inflated.

So that is what he said? Really? Then what is all the fuss. Obama was eminently reasonable — If McCain made an issue of it he must be insane, right.

Well, we know that is not what he said. He said inflating tires could save as much oil as could be produced by additional drilling. Obama was not being eminently reasonable. He was being an idiot.

Your modification of Obama’s point and the point of the charge made by McCain has undermined any credibility that I may have extended to you. Then you just started to make me laugh with the penis stuff.

I don’t believe your parents can forfiet your citizenship. You have to do that yourself.

My understanding is that if you legally accept a foreign citizenship after becoming an adult, you must give up your US citizenship. But if by accident of birth, you have dual citizenship at the moment of your birth, with no action necessary on your part, the law has no problem with that.
