I hate Edwards for portraying blue collar work as something to be ashamed of. He had a roof over his head, food on the table, and clothes on his back. He was not poor and I doubt his family felt poor. The story about his father making them leave the restaurant when he looked at the menu prices — big deal. Who hasn’t had a parent or themselves looked at the prices and say, “Hell, I’m not paying that much for a bunch of kids that really want fishsticks”?

This morning, RedEye had the National Enquirer reporter who did the story on Edwards on for a second. He talked about how he was waiting in the hotel until after 2:00 AM when Edwards finally exited the hotel room and they confronted him. Edwards went completely white then ran into a bathroom to hide.

It sounded like an episode of ‘Cheaters’.

Honestly, I don’t see why it’s any worse just because she had/has cancer (according to Edwards he only cheated in between cancer treatments and not while she actually had cancer).

And Bubba “put some ice on that” Billy was caught with more than just his pants down. He didn’t just have one consensual affair. He’s accused of rape and a series of sexual harassment instances, even one where he allegedly assaulted a woman who came to him for financial help the same day her husband killed himself.

I’m sorry, but Clinton is still the King “Dog” here. Maybe you don’t think what Edwards did is funny, but I wouldn’t even try to compare the two.

Except for,

He, Reille Hunter, and Fred Baron may also be facing civil and criminal charges, if the source of the hush-money was campaign funds.

No one seems to be able to explain how THAT’s “no one’s business” or how it equates to McCain.

Dog Edwards cheated on his wife while she was being treated for cancer.

Show me the humor in that.

In one of his selfpitying statements in his interview with Woodruff, Edwards actually said: “I came from nothing” and then bragged about what a great trial lawyer he was when he was only 30 years old. That statement about “coming from nothing” is a baldfaced lie and shows that Edwards will even throw his mom and dad under the bus. John Edwards grew up with a loving mom and dad. Yes, his dad started out as a mill worker but worked his way up to midlevel management. That is why the Edwards family moved from South Carolina to North Carolina. John Edwards always had a loving household with two doting parents. His parents fostered a love for education in John. For him to say that “I came from nothing” is a garbage statement. No human being “comes from nothing”. Back when he was running in 2004, Edwards liked to say that his brother had a lost a job and was unemployed. What Edwards was never asked was why didn’t you John, with your 36 million dollars, do something to help your brother? If John Edwards could find $114,000 to ladle out to his mistress, he could help his bro
