Pelosi buckling on drilling vote?

Come on folks, cut this ignorant San Francisco leghumper some slack. Her book was a huge failure, so now she wants to grab up lobby money. /Sarcasm

YOU, Nancy could help oil prices PLUMMET IMMEDIATELY if you stood up and said, “WE ARE OPENING UP ALL AREAS OF THE UNITED STATES territory to DRILLING, beginning TOMORROW”

Try that Nancy, and see if you don’t scare the speculators.

And, of course, with war in the Caucasus threatening energy supplies, this is the perfect time to short the US’s strategic reserve, intended to ensure our military operations around the world. Brilliant!

Pelosi will allow a vote…and the bill voted on will be skewed in such a way as to force the Republicans to vote against it. I envision a vote on allowing drilling in the US and OCS ONLY after those 63 million acres of present leased lands are drilled first…at great expense, and the finding of no oil or economically improbable recovery of any oil found.

Thus, the Dems will have a new meme for November…the Republicans refuse to drill.

That, or she will wait for the gang of ten idiots to give her a useless compromise bill, that allows almost no drilling, but she can claim to have acted.

I worked for years out in western Kern County California doing on site drug testing of oil rig crews at such places like the Elk Hills Naval Petroleum Reserve. Now, I don’t know a whole lot about oil drilling, but I asked them once how much oil it takes to produce gasoline. I was told by the rough necks that the kind of oil they were drilling wasn’t good for gasoline. They said it would be used for other materials, but it wasn’t the quality that was good for gas.

Now, why don’t those who are in favor for more drilling say this stuff? I tell it to people I know and the reaction is always the same…Gee, I didn’t know that, I thought all oil was good for gas.

I am left scratching my head and asking myself if the oil companies and the others are trying to actively lose the war for drilling? Get the info out there.

We live in a nation that sadly, unless you spell it out to them they won’t understand.
