I thought the President and Costas did a nice job in their interview – I loved the end when Bush said “I’m going to the swimming events if you ever let me get off this set” !!

Bush has done a great job supporting out athletes. He’s a good man – and a great sports fan.

I suspect he told his wife alright, but exactly which version who knows. But how he squares that circle in public versus laying out his own private version of events with the Mrs is something else.

I suspect that as more facts become known the less his private account matches the official story. Should make for interesting family time in the Edwards mansion.

Kathleen Sebelius? LoL… here in the great state of Kansas… she aint been doing so great. Corruption in the attorney generals office with the people she supports, rejection of building a new electrical generating plant, and increasing budget crisis this year… yeah, that’s what we need in Washington D.C. is more of that.

Why should he get an appt? He’s still lying his a$$ off. And worse, continuing to orchestrate this whole web of deceit. Plus, I don’t see where his desire for power is more important than acknowledging his own flesh and blood.

He may now need to find someone with foreign policy credentials to bolster his standing — and that would eliminate most of the people presumed to be on the short list: Tim Kaine, Kathleen Sibelius, even Hillary Clinton.

What happened to Evan Bayh? I thought he was on the really short list.

Once, she performed a cork-screw landing in a combat zone, then burst out of the plane carrying a comedian and a mediocre guitar player on her back, and then, after bringing them to safety, she returned to the fiery tarmac to rescue the screaming children.

Now that’s foreign policy experience! No purple heart for her, though, because she’s a woman.

I also remember Vice President Quayle giving Al Gore a verbal thrashing during a vice presidential debate and how stunned the Libtards were!

The fact is that Quayle has more foreign policy experience that Edwards and Barack combined times several orders of magnitude and is smarter than both by several more orders of magnitude. Odd that a MESSIAH will make so many flip flops and gaffes…..unless he’s just a run-of-the-mill air head, arrogant f#@k who can read a teleprompter. And Edwards, he’s just a typical sleezy politician and ambulance chaser. So Jake-the-Goose, it is a good thing.

Edwards, a supposedly smart guy, is beginning to look like one of the biggest fools on the planet. And as Dan Quayle can attest, once the public becomes convinced that somebody is a blithering idiot, it’s very difficult to ever get the public to take that person seriously again.

Why are these sound bites and other obamaisms not yet a TV spot?

Clark and Biden are perfect examples of men who will go absolutely no further in life. Given this, and the fact they are white and well-known, makes them perfect choices for Obama’s VP, and more importantly, willing to accept. No one with any political future would possibly hitch his wagon to the falling Obama star. While Richardson is very clearly a moron, his re-found ethnicity may yet move him further. As such, he’s bound to decline if asked.
