Kind of like a politician who claims to represent the working man trying to force down the working man’s wages by legalizing a huge amount of cheap labor. Or maybe like a politician who introduces a bill to reinstate the draft to scare kids and parents right before an election and votes against his own bill. Kind of like a wheezy, slimy, sack of fecal matter who uses rent controlled apartments for his own benefit instead of helping the poor, like his party proclaims.

The Democrats want to surrender on everything. Don’t try to win the war on terror, just throw in the towel and walk away from it. Don’t even try to combat illegal immigration, just throw the borders open and declare our country free for the taking.

Face it guys, amnesty is coming. Whether it is Obama working with a Dem Congress or McCain. The only fundamental difference here is going to be the language used to disguise it as “reform” instead of the no-questions-asked citizenship giveaway that was the cornerstone of McCain/Kennedy.
This is one of the reasons why McCain was the wrong guy to get the nomination. Now we have to live with the results. Remember that when indirect costs to corporations and taxpayers go up as the newly legalized illegals demand full recompense for the taxes payed into SSN when they were working here illegally.

We have a Dem congress now. Do you know why Nancy Pelosi refused to allow a vote in Congress on the Heath Shuler (also a Dem, BTW) enforcement bill? Because she was afraid it would pass.
The far-left types from safe districts (for uber-lefties) like Pelosi and Rangel are in the minority on this issue. The majority of Americans want enforcement, not amnesty.

Exactly. Just as it’s a far-left position to remove all troops from Iraq. Do you remember that democrat (Rep. Obey?) who was cornered in the senate or house hallway by the two anti Iraq war protesters with a video camera, so upset that he wasn’t leading the charge to cut all funding of the troops as a way to force them all home? He said ‘you idiots on the left wing’ or something to that effect.
They want to get re-elected by getting all the votes they can, including the far left and they have no intention to carry out what the far-left advocates want.
The majority of Americans want enforcement, not amnesty. And the majority of senators and congressmen? Are they going to vote against the will of the majority over our objections?

It’s been over with for a few months now. All of our politicians who could have done something about it are of the elite class and don’t have to face this invasion on a daily basis in the streets so they don’t really care. They haven’t got kids out of work and hampered by the fact that they don’t speak Spanish (or whatever that half-breed concoction is that they speak)
Most of the resistance have thrown up their hands and given up. How can you win a fight when all the talking heads are against you. (except Mr. Dobbs) Did you hear Charlie boy say anything about our borders? Of course not. Hey Charlie boy, how many blacks are unemployed in southern California because they can’t speak Spanish or can’t get past the hireing clicks in the Mexican dominated housekeeping, fast food, or landscaping industries. If you’re poor and live in So Cal don’t even think about finding a job if your not Mexican and amigo’s IT’S GOING TO BE PLAYING IN A THEATER NEAR YOU SOOOOON.
No one wants to mention the fact that Mexicans are way more racist than American whites. If you don’t believe it, go work with them for awhile. I did. To most of them there are only two types of American whites: The first type is their friend, an American white who believes all Mexicans have the God given right to come and partake of our jobs and social services or the second type who doesn’t believe they have an unconditional right to be here and is their enemy and a racist.
Either we grease up and give them what we have or we’re racists. They really believe that and don’t see it as a form of socialism and as them raping America.
What’s really a joke is that their government is so weak and corrupt that it’s being taken over as we speak by the drug cartels and still they hold this silly allegiance to Meh-he-co. This unexplainable love for a country that’s been screwing them for years.
