It hasn’t got a damned thing to do with his ethnicity, or her gender. It has everything to do with the fact that both are products of the Chicago Daley political machine, one of the most corrupt and incompetent organizations of its type in history (even Tammany Hall and the Cleveland Crew aren’t up to Chicago standards on either one).

Obama came to national prominence from that machine via Harvard, where he apparently learned that the “common people” exist to be used, not respected and certainly not cared about. He also apparently learned a lot about how hating America pays big dividends in Democratic Party circles.

Hillary came from the same source via first the Senate Watergate Committee (where she learned that “the ends justify the means”), and then Hot Springs, AK, the Mos Eisely Spaceport of Southern politics (”You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy”). Anyone who still believes the whole “Man From Plains” act needs to look at a map of the state. While Obama was matriculating under William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, Hillary was doing likewise under Saul Alinsky. Different streams, but leading back to the same headwater. (Hint; it’s not the source of the Nile.)

Any way you look at it, who these two characters are now is the product of their own conscious choices along the road, just like most of us. And in their case, the choices were apparently motivated by a single thought;

I want power, and I don’t care who I have to step on to get it.

I find it ironic that it is the debate over energy policy that seems to be what may finally derail their collective train. After all, energy is power, as well. (Defined as “the ability to do work”.) Something that these two are totally incapable of. And when things don’t go their way, they both look for scapegoats to punish.

That is not the stuff of leadership. You’d think that by now, the Democratic party would understand that.

Since they obviously don’t, I think it’s time we explained it to them again.

By voting “no” on their Messiah.

Speaking of trying to paint Obama as inauthentically American, though, can I ask people to please stop sending us theories about his supposed dual citizenship?

From what’s written there, his time in Indonesia looks a lot murkier than whatever people might say about his time in Kenya.

That will help improve American politics in the long run as we focus on ideas and philosophy, and not the color of skin, internal plumbing, or ethnicity of our great-grandparents.

I don’t think you have any foundation for reducing the differences between men and women to “internal plumbing.”

The upshot: if all that stuff about Obama’s citizenship were true, it would be true for me also. I would have had to have been naturalized and I would have never worked in the AFSC in question.

But none of that is true.

Thing is, Obama’s list of negatives is becoming so unwieldy it’s difficult for people to keep track of whether they’ve been address or not.

Ed, while I’m not a conspiricy theorist on Obama’s nationality, one can’t use the fact that one got a security clearance in the Air Force as proof. I’ve been in the USAF for 27 years and know personally several foriegn born nationals who became US citizens and got securtity clearances in the USAF. Again, though, I don’t see any proof that Obama’s a foriegn born national yet.

It depends on the type of clearance that you’re up for. For the one I had, it was a definite ‘no’ for naturalized citizens to be considered.

This could also rip the veneer of inclusionism off of identity politics and expose it for the tribalism that it is. These memos and the Democratic infighting demonstrate the corrosiveness of identity politics and its eventual outcome — division, bitterness, and loss. That will help improve American politics in the long run as we focus on ideas and philosophy, and not the color of skin, internal plumbing, or ethnicity of our great-grandparents

It will also have one other effect, and that’s to put the race card out of reach for Barack Obama. He can’t call McCain a racist and a fearmonger again without first pointing the finger publicly to the Clintons

Sure he can. This is Obama we’re talking about. Whatever he says today has nothing to do with whatever was said or done yesterday.

The thing that killed me was the columnist who tried to make out that Obama was joking when he made those “race card” statements. “And did I mention he’s black? … He doesn’t look like all those other Presidents on the currency” BWAAAhahahaha. We’ve all seen what a great sense of humor the man has, you know. (wish I could remember who wrote that, I’d give you the link)

I’m looking forward to fighting with McCain for the next 4 years. The alternative is unthinkable.

Edwards was the Dhimmicrats best shot and look what’s happened to him.

I know, the choices this year are Moron and Pain in the Ass. Lucky for Pain in the Ass, he is still more qualified.

I’m convinced that this is the driving force behind most of the far left’s political doctrine, and why their squeals of indignation are so loud when one rips away their tissues of self-delusion: they know it to be true.

As for ‘obama is a muslim; not a citizen; forge birth certificate; yadda-yadda. Agreed. Enough already. Non issues. Like that of McCain being a citizen of Panama because daddy was stationed there when baby McCain was born.

All anyone has to focus on about the obamanator is what we know to be true: the man’s a marxist at his core & puppet of George Soros.

The rest is foul & pointless.

Juliette at Baldilocks, who shares the same background as Obama, tried to slap this down back in February by noting that her own supposed inauthenticity didn’t stop the U.S. Air Force from granting her a security clearance.

So every crisis or question that comes up Sen. Obama can just say, “Yeah, er ah oh, like he said.” I guess if Sen. Obama wins he will have to hope Sen. McCain is available for comment first. It’s a strategy.

They can do it again by investigating the claims in the link I provided and actually reporting on them, can’t rely on mainstream media or clueless RNC to do it.
