DNC fires back: Democrats used to love a Maverick

The only place that’s smoking are the gray mass between the ears of the pathetic DNC. Did I tell you, that they’re going to try to scare you with high energy prices (sarcasm). Conservatives have to respond by voting the block headed dems out, and McCain in!

But…it’s still imitation. The minions of He who must not be named have no humor and no originality. McCain’s ad wins hands down. Better pace and the very best of Hillary.

It’s the same hustle they tried to pull on the Iraq war once they saw they could use it as a wedge issue against Bush. What, did we want to go into Iraq? Eh… no Bush blinded us, we believed faithfully in Bush, Bush tricked us all!

My hunch is it won’t, just because the impressions on the public left from eight years of the media smothering him in hugs for being such a mavericky Maverick aren’t that easily scrubbed.

DNC fires back: Democrats used to love a Maverick

‘Used to’ is one of those things. I say it, but when I type it out, and read it literally, it just doesn’t seem to make sense in type.

…. hmm. So? Looked pretty tame to me. Nothing out of the ordinary for Bush to wish the winner of the republican primary well. What was he supposed to say, “damnu McCoont! You’ll never win against that GOD of a man, Barack Obama!” *Bush gets down on his knees and praises barack Obama as McCain stands, dumbfounded….”

Hillary’s “last say” about Obama was Awesome. And it would seem the entire set-up for that ad was to just get out that message.

The same might be asked of President Bush and company.

That makes no sense. Are you suggesting that Bush has previously expressed a preference for Obama over McCain?
