Why do we need to debate legal or illegal? He’s talking about kids for crying out loud. When it comes to politicians morality and ethics are not synonymous with legality. But regardless of any of that, going after children for any reason is just plain wrong.

Reminds me of the mother who pretended to be a teenage boy on MySpace in order to humiliate a teenage girl she thought was saying mean things about her own daughter. That young girl committed suicide and federal prosecutors went to great lengths to find this mother guilty of something, anything. Why? Because we protect the defenseless and innocent and what’s wrong is wrong. It’s just that simple.

This guy needs medical help more than prosecution I think.

It is a crime to “incite” another to the commission of a criminal act.

So the questions would be: (1) whether that jackass Gravel said constituted incitement, and (2) whether in fact it caused others to commit a criminal act.

So Gravel thinks that the prosecutor is “a racist” and “an injustice” for doing his job to prosecue a real contempt charge? I wonder what Gravel’s stance was on KKKarl Rove and his “contempt” charge.

Could you imagine the outrage if a former Republican candidate made such a call? “Find out where he lives. Find out where his office is. If you’ve got some chutzpah – which is a word that you don’t hear often……

No way would I defend Gravel on this but I just saw him on O’Reilly’s show and he seemed to be impaired, as in mentally disabled. It was sad to watch and made me wonder if his family should step in and try to prevent him from speaking publicly anymore.

I saw the interview too and I agree with your assessment, the man has fallen off his rocker for sure.

Not only that but in my opinion he’s a fraud and this whole ‘outrage’ over this prosecutor having ‘rail-roaded’ the “victim” (a terrorist supporter/fundraiser) is a farce and has more to do with selling his new book! I support this statement by the fact this foaming at the mouth fruitloop immediately started the interview with O’Reilly by pushing his book, even offering O’ an autographed copy, which O’ declined! What a sad joke this man is, so transparent in his faux rage!

This miserable waste of human flesh is willing to create controversy where none exists and in doing so is hampering our ability to cut off funding to terrorists that will use the money to kill us, worse yet he does so all in the name of making a few bucks off his crappy book! If his actions aren’t despicable and justification for him being thrown in prison for aiding and supporting our enemies I don’t know what is!

This isn’t the Mike Gravel I thought I knew.

You don’t get to be a politician in the Democrat Party unless you are a complete POS. They weed out the decent people early.

Never, ever, ever, even consider casting a vote for a member of the Democrat Party. We might be able to destroy this blight on humanity in our time.
