“Original” goes negative yet again, attacking John McCain for being … well, Republican:

If this sounds familiar, that’s because it is the FairTax Proposal. If McCain would go to this, he would have a second “club” to go after Obama with.

If the FairTax replaced all income (individual and corporate) and payroll taxes, the odds are that companies would begin flocking to or returning to the USA. This would equate to more well-paying jobs for more citizens and legal residents and likely much more tax revenues than Obama’s tax changes will ever hope to gain. (The fact is that Obama’s tax changes will likely result in lower revenues as more jobs will be lost and more companies will leave or outsource jobs.)

The downside of beginning to push for the FairTax at this late date is McCain would have to do a lot of teaching/explaining that would take precious time away from other campaigning.

Inflate your tires when you run out of gas. It’s the miracle of air pressure getting you where you need to be on faith. Never ask for the opportunity to provide for yourself! You will be denied. Obamarx has spoken, so let it be written!

The Obama ad is a good ad against John McCain in the sense that it plays on fear, which is the strongest human motivator. Sure, it’s one lie after another, but Obama doesn’t care whether or not it’s true, just that it gets votes. If the media was equally critical of all political ads, McCain would win in a landslide, but we all know the media will never, evah, be equally critical.

Because they’re just proxies for McCain.

At best, it’s a misdirection, more properly, another lie.

Democrats wanted to eliminate tax breaks that currently all companies enjoy, for companies that create jobs anywhere other than the US.

McCain, and almost all economists, opposed such a move.

In bizarro world, that counts as supporting tax breaks.

Given the way Democrats think, that everything belongs to the govt, and allowing you to keep some of your own money is the equivalent of a subsidy, it’s possible.
