Not too long ago, democrats were touting the line that the price of gas has gone up under Bush’s watch.

Some smart person out there made a graph that showed how the price of gas started climbing when Pelosi & Reid took over. While they aren’t responsible for the world wide demand for crude oil, neither is Bush. But since they began this little game of theirs, I’d love so see a little bit of the mud splashed back in their faces.

If 35 psi is good, then 70 psi should be twice as good.

We could go back to subsistence farming. That would make the energy plan work.

The lefties and enviros (was that redundant) have been pushing both issues for decades.

U.S. companies would not leave the U.S. because of excessive regulation. Would they? They would still be competitive. Would’nt they?

Also, the proposed windfall profit tax on oil, is it just from American oil companies, or is he going to extend that to foreign oil companies? What’s to prevent American oil companies to become foreign oil companies, and leave us none?

The educated Moscovite would pick up Pravda each morning…more often than not didn’t bother reading it. He’d fold it four or five times and put it in his back left pocket, taking the previous day’s folded Pravda in his back left pocket and transfering it to his back right pocket, and the folded Pravda in his back right pocket would go to his inside jacket pocket. When “toiletnaya bumaga” was needed, he’d take Pravda out of his jacket pocket and tear off an amount needed. Keeping Pravda in your trousers pockets for a day or so softened the paper, and also absorbed the low-quality Soviet ink.
