Number one with a bullet today on YouTube’s list of most viewed News & Politics videos. Some lefty blogger snarked at us this morning for being the sort of people who found “The Half-Hour News Hour” funny — which, er, we didn’t, but which would have been a worthy zinger if we had since that show’s humor appealed to the sort of cloddish partisanship that relishes having its worst stereotypes of the other side flattered. Kind of like this clip, or pretty much any viral lefty attempt at humor, really. What’s weird is that we know how highly intelligent the left is, yet intelligence typically prizes subtlety in wit. What to make then of a right-wing cartoon platypus from Flatbush calling people “faggots”? We’ll chalk it up to irony, in all its mysteries.
In fairness, this is actually exceedingly mild for this genre. And the blonde is, let us admit, superb.

I live in the real world where people work hard, mow their lawns on the weekends and suck down cocktails to relax.
99.9% of the American population will never see this video, and most others like it (no matter what side of the isle you reside).
I can’t understand why this is even worth a post.
The truth is that this shit is beyond boring, it’s becoming a pain in the ass and I’m at a loss trying to understand how hot air continually dances between intelligent commentary and worthless time consuming nonsense that we have to wade through because there might be a hidden gem that doesn’t exist.
Why don’t you guys start flagging these types of posts with a warning that says:
Caution, if your not an adolescent 20 to 30 something adult with to much time on your hands you should COMPLETELY ignore this post.

Well that dance…that begins when the evening starts, and there isn’t any new news to report on, and the blog makes a moderate attempt to be entertaining. But then, you must hate entertainment. I’ve seen plenty of funny videos posted here that I wouldn’t have otherwise known about. And as AP said, this video is the #1 political video right now, or something like that. So its marginally relevant.
They are flagged, the author of the posts you’re talking about is usually titled “by Allahpundit”

Well winemkr, when you see a headline with a screen from a video where a young woman is dressed in a red riding hood outfit not too much unlike from a halloween party, then it shouldn’t be too difficult to figure out what it is.
And as for why? Well, …. the universe is filled with a multitude of wonderful and bizarre occurances. Some magnificent, some mind numbingly unfathomable as to the reason why. I’m still trying to figure out my own perplexing puzzle, as we all are. I’d suggest you take another sip of your adult beverage of choice, and chalk this up to a ‘hmm’ of the day.
