Lots of McCain ad material here. Visualize a completely anal, repulsive Barbara Mikulski look-alike ranting about how The Chosen One has deemed your tire pressure will be proper and not vary by one percent and you’ll like it or there will be “consequences.”

BTW aircraft tires are designed as much for cushioning on landing as much as rolling resistance for takeoff. If the wings are doing their job they’re decreasing the rolling resistance once the aircraft accelerates sufficiently. Shhh. Don’t tell Obambi or he’ll be mandating wings on automobiles.

Also, 2006 and newer production cars all have tire pressure monitors built in.

Anyhow I loved Paris’s ad. She has my vote.

BTE: Helium won’t work to replace air in tires. It’s atoms are too small and escape easily.

P.S. tires filled with “air” are already filled with %70 nitrogen, so it’s not a magic gas that won’t leak ever.

I turned my thermostat down to 72 and went out and bought some big ole steaks when he said that we can’t do that any more. Sorry, I don’t have enough money to buy an SUV. I drive around in second gear sometimes though. Does that count?

Example: I heard his speech about how proper tire inflation would negate our need for any oil drilling whatsoever, so I followed his lead! I did some rough calculations and figured that if I put 450 psi of air pressure in my tires, I would no longer need any fuel whatsover!

I had no success in reaching this goal on my first few attempts… upon considerable reflection (while still in my hospital bed), I came upon the idea to create tires out of welded titanium mesh to withstand this incredible pressure; I promptly ordered a set from a fabricator I found on eBay.

Today, I put them into action and the results are incredible! I was actually able to inflate them to 1,322 psi… as a result, I now have to stop my 1973 Ford Pinto every 60 miles or so to siphon off all of the fuel it has been creating – I have been giving it away at gas stations as I sing the praises of NObama.

I am now trying to fit car with a larger tank so that it will enable me to drive +250 miles before having to stop and dump all of the excess fuel.

McCain will bring us oil!

There are countless factors that go into the price of oil due to speculation. If you want to attribute the recent drop to the prospect of increased domestic drilling in order to make yourself feel smart, then I’m glad it makes you feel better.

Do you remember Jonathan Lebed, who talked up stocks on the net and made $800,000 and subsequently had to hand over part of his illicit gains, plus interest, which came to $285,000.

Obama: a maroon, and the people who believe his ‘conservation’ tip: morons.
