Oh for the love of Pete! Just called my Rep’s office (as I have done every day to wish him a great ‘vacation”) and asked if he intended to return to Washington. He is John Tanner of TN8th btw. The office phone gal who answered told me he was for drilling and introduced a bill, with the Group of 10, before Congress adjourned. HUH! That group is Senators, he is a Congressman! How utterly stupid do they think we are????? I asked if he intended to return to DC soon and she said they have no update on his plans. They are literally running scared now and lying through their teeth folks. Keep it up!!!

We are so proud of the GOP for bringing attention to the inaction of the House with regards to the energy policy. We encourage you, Pete Sessions and your colleagues, to be a part of that protest in Washington. This is an important issue for all of America and it seems that the youngest GOP members are energized into making a stand. Just got a call from my Congressman Lee Terry’s Office. He got my email asking why he is not in Washington. He will will be going back soon. He and his staff here in Omaha will also be having an ‘Energy Relief Rally’. The rally will be held on Tuesday, August 5th at 5:30pm on the southwest corner of 120th & Center. He is asking that we save our gas receipts for the month of August so that he can present them to Nancy Pelosi. Calling your representative does work.

ok here’s needs to be done. This is an APB for all those that love America and our need to drill here , drill now, pay less: via the Michelle’s site, here is where the dictator of the house is on her book tour. And since we cannot all go, SINCE THE PRICE OF GAS IS SO HIGH,WE ALL CAN’T AFFORD TO GO ON VACATION! Those in the area where the dictator will be, go and protest here and try to question her as to why she will not allow us to drill:
Speaking of the absent Speaker of the House, here’s her book tour schedule during the Democrats’ vacation. The “Impeach Bush” crowd is dogging her on the book publicity trail. Wouldn’t it be good to see protesters at these events pressing her on issues people really care about?
