Everyone who heard Obama knows what he was saying.

I have felt that way every time some bigot spouts off but is defended by sycophants in his own party. Why do people have such a difficult time acknowledging racially tinged language?

I really don’t think racism is so bad. Once one becomes accustomed to it and its purveyors, things go a lot smoother.

Exactly. Of course Barry made his remarks to a white crowd. What would be the point of playing the race card to a black audience? “White guilt” (which is the whole point of Barry’s emphasizing his race) doesn’t work on black voters.

Or better yet, Sen. Lott’s comments?

Why has no one made that comparison to those comments?

DNC + racial statment = “misspoken comment, poor choice of wwords, not a big deal”

Here’s my question: Senator Obama. In the movie “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” (1967), the character played by Sidney Poitier is arguing with his father about marrying a white girl. He says to his father, “… [Y]ou think of yourself as a colored man. I think of myself as a man”. Senator, when you look in the mirror, do you see a black man, or a man?

What percentage of your working day do you spend obsessing about your name and skin tone or the average skin pigmentation and ethnicity of those you speak to?

The most remarkable thing about this whole affair is that the media is reporting the Obama team’s mutually exclusive talking points with a straight face.

I’m most definitely peeved at the MSM for their reporting on this. Obama said, with slight paraphrasing, McCain or those who support him are going to make my race an issue. And the MSM pretends like he didn’t say it, didn’t mean it, when he brought it up 3 times in one day, and has brought it up numerous times in the past. It’s part of his stump speech, for crying out loud.

Actually, don’t say anything at all about “The One Who Cannot Be Named.”

Barack hasn’t a platform; neither has he a coalition of Congressmen and Senators.

Barack has empty promises, CONSISTENTLY PROVEN EMPTY, and endorsements from LOSERS like Kerry and Kennedy who never won the nomination himself OBVIOUSLY, and the Kennedy Klan who have determined THEY WILL RULE THE WORLD VIA BHO.

Just remember, boys and girls, there was no Camelot that involved any Kennedy beyond the MSM fairy tale repeated to mollify America into submissive mode. And what coin do we have pressed from JFK? NASA and The Ugly American as opportunists and do-gooders were seen abroad. Since the Kennedy wedding with the MSM following the assassinations, today’s “Ugly American” is any non-Kennedy.

To rationally endorse THAT is loser mentality. No matter how well you serve a Kennedy, regardless of color you will never rise above slave status. Whatever “public service” is done in the name of Kennedy, it is all self serving and corrupt. Live and learn.

Update: The battle is over, to be resumed whenever John McCain decides to re-inject race into the campaign by defending himself from Obama’s accusations that he’s a racist.

Weak… McCain should study this entire situation, from every angle, and then bring it up and destroy Obama in their first debate. He’d need to be ready for any excuse, and then just tear him apart as the race peddling POS that he is. Of course he wouldn’t be able to go as far as to point out that Obama wouldn’t be where he is today if it weren’t for the fact that he was black, but I’d like to see people other than Hillary surrogates point that out.
