jp What you are suggesting is the exact same thing we are accusing the Dems of, albeit in the other direction. This should not be a political football to be played with. It isn’t about politics but rather what is best for the American people, and by going political that is exactly what has led congress to have a 9% rating.

sure, but this is a political reality 100 days out from a key election.

If the Dems cave and drilling is allowed before the election. Will this help or hurt the GOP’s chances? I say hurt, issue is off table and the dems saved the day unless the hard left all boycott election day over it??? If the GOP is advocating drilling and the Dems are opposing, without it ever passing…does this help GOP or Dems on election day?
