I don’t think it was great that he had the courage to call Congress a sinking ship and desert it. The system’s broken? Fix it.

Wow. I said the same thing. I told my wife that if McCain called I’d have to decline the VP offer. She was really disappointed. Just gave me this blank stare, shook her head then turned and walked out of the room mumbling, “God. Give me strength.”
