I smell another Hollywood commercial bust of Redacted proportions on the horizon…

Why do I get the feeling that this movie’s sole purpose is to provide one colossal photo op/soapbox momment for all of Hollywood’s A-List Bush haters when they attend the LA and NYC premieres?

Producing movie trash of this degree about a sitting President is unheard of. There is a serious genetic flaw in Stone and Company and natural selection has failed us. Brolin, Stone, Penn, Sarandon, all of those people would have been selected out were it not for modern medicine. I say stop all research grants for the medical community.

Liberals love to lose money financing crap like this. It makes them feel all sixties-ish and noble. “We’re not in it for the money, we’re sacrificing our time and money to show the TRUTH.”

Most of the people who hate Bush aren’t going to shell out money to see a bio of him even if it does paint him in the worst possible light. Those who don’t hate him certainly won’t go to see it. And those who don’t care . . . won’t care to see it.

Oliver Stone would do better remaking Plan 9 from Outer Space. He could direct himself playing the head alien since he’d be right at home saying, “You see? You see? Your stupid minds! Stupid! Stupid!”

Well, when in the hell are we going to take Hollywood back..better yet, let’s make Nashville the conservative movie capital of the world and make some decent, values reflective movies.

If we weren’t all so busy working and paying taxes to support all the entitlement programs, we would have a handle on this cultural meltdown:-)

Clearly, Stone does not understand the Bush family. I just don`t think W. would go after his dad like that or they`d be that way with each other. “What a Wonderful World” is most likely used to make him seem simplistic, stupid, head in the clouds………You know, a doofus.

I predict this movie will be an atomic bomb on the level of Stop Loss.

I agree, it may make a few million from the far-lefties going to see it, then it`ll drop like a……..ahem…Stone? :)

People may not like GW anymore, but I dont think Oliver Stone throwing a bucket of blood around the Oval Office while Bush is still in office will go over too well in bitter, bible-clinging, gun-toting bigot country.

It’s almost enough to tempt me into seeing the movie- just to see it. Almost. Maybe I’ll tivo when it comes out on television, and watch it when I get some extra time.

I wonder if it’s a coincidence that Stone hired Toby Jones to be Karl Rove – whose most prominent recent film appearances, as I recall, are Truman Capote and that slave-owning guy in “Amazing Grace.” Perhaps its unlikely, but I’d like to think that Oliver Stone said, “Hey! Karl Rove’s as bad as a slaveowner! Let’s get that guy!”
