I was caught up in the hysteria during the Vietnam era, which was brought about through Marxist propaganda underlying the so-called peace movement. The radicals of that era were successful in giving the communists power to bring forth the killing fields and slaughter 2.5 million people in Cambodia and South Vietnam. Did they stop the war, or did they bring the war to those innocent people? In the end, they turned their backs on all the horror and suffering they helped create and walked away.

I doubt it. Most of them have to be willing to read and listen (like David Mamet) before they can even start the process of changing their minds. But, as we know, they would rather stick their fingers in their ears and scream “La, la, la, la,” as loud as they can like the little children they are.

Not only that but Angelina has stated that she would have absolutely no problem with shooting anyone who threatened her family.

Also, she is one of the few Hollywood stars who has actually gone to visit the troops.

Voight’s a good guy. He recently was in Sdereot Israel showing solidarity with that beleaguered city. I did not see Richard Dreyfuss there.

Noo, but you will get to see Dreyfuss chew the scenery as Dick Cheney(?!) in Oliver Ston’es “W.” Someone commented here yesterday that having James Cromwell as GHW Bush was all wrong because he doesn’t have the voice. Then I learned squeeky, whiny Richard (”I don’t like the panties drying on the rod!” -The Goodby Girl) Dreyfuss will be playing the sonorous Dick Cheney. What a joke.

There are a few of us. But I don’t think worship is the right term, at least not for me.

I’m blown away. Of all the pundits, an actor nailed Obama in the most effective manner.

What would be fun, is if he had pimped for Obama and then at some huge rally laid all this out.

I think he’s on record as saying stuff about Mormons that if Mel Gibson had said about Jews would have had Gibson tarred and feathered. Voight may get kudos for speaking out in Hollywood, but I won’t exactly shed a tear if he doesn’t work again, either.

And speaking of shut up and sing..You notice that COW from the has-been Chicks decided to run her mouth on stage in London…what courage that must have taken…If she would have done it at a concert in the States, that might have been something.
