The Northern Alliance Radio Network will be on the air today, with our six-hour-long broadcast schedule starting at 11 am CT. The first two hours features Power Line’s John Hinderaker and Chad and Brian from Fraters Libertas. Mitch and I hit the airwaves for the second shift from 1-3 pm CT, and King Banaian and Michael Broadkorb have The Final Word from 3-5. If you’re in the Twin Cities, you can hear us on AM 1280 The Patriot, or on the station’s Internet stream if you’re outside of the broadcast area.

Today, I return to the studio after being out on assignment at the Right Online conference in Austin. We’ll talk about my first round of golf in two years at the Millard Fillmore tournament yesterday, how Mitch won the honor of the local Lefties naming him the Most Ridiculous Conservative Blogger in the Twin Cities …. and didn’t Barack Obama go on his Merci Beaucoup World Tour?

Be sure to call 651-289-4488 to join the conversation! And don’t forget to join our Ustream chat:

UPDATE, 1:14 pm CT: Mitch and I are having difficulties accessing Ustream. As soon as we can, we’ll get into the chat.

“With Superginney Mark Yost out of the tournament, King Baniaiaiaiaiaian (SCSU Scholar + Janet) gets partnered with rookie Uberblogger Ed Morrissey (Hot Air). Banaiaiaian’s vegetarian diet will probably only provide him enough energy to play 10 holes, so it’s up to wild card Morrissey to carry this team to the Pitcher. Can he bring down the field like he brought down the Canadian government?

Sooooooo, You were a “wild card” huh Ed? Can’t wait to hear how this turned out. :)

I respectfully disagree mimi. If golfers and those who appreciate the game haven’t enjoyed the drama of last two “Opens”, (British and U.S.), you haven’t hit a 4-wood from 220 out and ended up four feet from the pin. Amateurs, like myself might make that shot twice in a lifetime. Watching Harrington make a similar shot down the stretch made me ask “Tiger who”.

Hmmm, NO MENTION of the SCORES from yesterdays golf outing?

Ed, how did you do?

originalpechanga on July 26, 2008 at 10:58 AM

I shot a 129, which is pretty danged good on a TPC course without having hit even a bucket of balls in two years. I only hit double-digits on one hole, getting a 10 on the par-5 15th. I think a 57-over-par ain’t too bad, all things considered …..

So who brought home the coveted Jim Jones pitcher?

Jeff_McAwesome on July 26, 2008 at 2:57 PM

Good job, Ed…. Next time you’re out here, we’ll play…. but your gonna have to spot me a stroke on the longer holes.. I get my money’s worth on a per stroke basis…unless I sink a lucky putt…
