Video: Michelle on the “Right-wing freak machine”

Eyeblast has video from the Right Online conference of Michelle Malkin’s keynote speech, in which she scoffed at the notion that online conservatives should have an inferiority complex. I blogged it live on Saturday, but an attendee grabbed the video camera so that everyone can see and hear the speech. She starts with a rare defense of John McCain against Wesley Clark, but mostly she focuses on her mission to encourage conservative activism:
Americans for Prosperity did have a video crew at the event, and hopefully we can get all of the great speeches to go viral.

Looks great, as always.

I reject the MSM narrative! I haven’t really heard it recently because I no longer listen but I probably agree…

Please someone put this on Youtube so us folks on the iPhone can watch it.
RobertInAustin on July 23, 2008 at 8:29 AM
God, I love her! She’s so awesome in every way!–Smart, funny, talented, witty, charming… I admire her.

I wish AFP would post transcripts of all the Saturday speeches!!! There were some GREAT messages there.

Let me get this straight, these was a Right Online conference and no provisions were made to video the entire event and put it all on Youtube so all the attendees could use it in their blogs? So, if an attendee hadn’t just happened to video this, we wouldn’t have it? You’re kidding right? Please tell me I have it wrong.
TheBigOldDog on July 23, 2008 at 8:33 AM
In all fairness, Youtube has a habit of censoring conservative political commentary. Michelle and others have written extensively about this.
Vic on July 23, 2008 at 8:38 AM
Nice cape. Is Michelle now a superhero?
Wait a minute. That was a stupid question. Michelle has been a superhero to us rightwing conspirators for years.
Bigfoot on July 23, 2008 at 8:46 AM
If Youtube censors, then time to create an alternative.
Really, a conference on conservative blogging and none of them filmed this? Time to step it up folks. Quit fighting this blog war like McCain taking on Obama.

The MSM loses all credibility when they disregard the truth and present what they want it to be. Liberals cannot grasp reality as it exists and feel they must force their will on masses in order to present it as they see it and not how it is.

Why is the Left winning? They are more professional. They are better organized. They take it much more seriously. Sorry, the truth often hurts.
Somebody with connections better step up and lead. They better get the wealthy Republicans to start funding a professional organization and infrastructure if they want to compete.

Great job Michelle
Caped crusader … looking good :-)

When are we getting Michelle back on FNC primetime? The rotation of guests on Hannity is getting a bit tiresome.
Outlander on July 23, 2008 at 9:04 AM
She’s great. We need a conservative “View” featuring Michelle et al.
Mojave Mark on July 23, 2008 at 9:32 AM
You wouldn’t be a conservative without it.

I disagree. Lousy lighting. She doesn’t look so great there.

Oh yeah. That’d go over well. Have you actually listened to boobus female America? The majority view Oprah as vibrant mental stimulation.
RWLA on July 23, 2008 at 9:54 AM
MM as therapy enabler… OK.
Exactly.
More excerpts of Michelle’s speech(s) would be great.

Coincidentally, “Right-wing Freak Machine” was my nickname in college.
mikeyboss on July 23, 2008 at 10:15 AM
Maybe what we need is to get Michelle Malkin and/or Laura Ingraham on ABC’s “The View”, and put the other dingbats in their places. Little Lizzie Hasselbeck is much too weak over there!
Steve Z on July 23, 2008 at 10:31 AM
Yes, we need more pseudo-conservatives who promote Pat Buchanan and his neo-Nazism, and who say “scariest animals wear pants” (ie., humans).

Mine is “Ultra Right Wing Christian Conservative Pro-Life Pro-Gun Low-Tax Freak Nuclear Power Machine”

And my liberal friend’s nickname is “Pot Head Welfare Greenie”.

What do you mean? They have Dick Morris and Newt Gingrich and Dick Morris and Newt Gingrich and Dick Morris and Newt Gingrich and Dick Morris and…

I really love to hear Michelle speak most of the time, although this is the first time I’ve heard her in a while. We need MORE MICHELLE! More speeches, more videos (Bring back VENT DAMMIT!) and more television time – EXCEPT on B.O.’s show since she can’t actually get a word in edgewise. As much respect as I have for her, I will just say that in being so snarky in this speech, she almost comes across as juvenile. I really think she would be so much more effective if she would just do what she does best, and put the FACTS out there. She already has a tremendous impact on a crowd; She’s yound and beautiful, she’s not WHITE – (which really seems to be the MSM’s hotbutton accross the board and causes them to reflexively go about the ad-hominem attack), she’s articulate, she’s conservative and she’s deadly accurate. She represents true Americans, much more so than someone like Ann Coulter, who tends to blend facts with emotion and opinion while at the same time being that dreaded off-white color refered to as “Caucasion”. But I’m afraid Michelle risks being marginalized if she lacks the poise to stop herself from being too “catty” – and frankly we all can’t afford to lose Michelle, she’s too big of an influencer for the cause of conservatism.
KMC1 on July 23, 2008 at 11:24 AM
It’s called a tripod people. How hard would it be to have two cameras in front on and one to get the crowd, all on tripods? We need to grow up in terms of how we present our message. They have Hollywood, we have junior with mommies new camera.
Michelle is awesome. What a beautiful woman.

Oh, yeah. I had heard about you. Thought you were dead (ref. Escape From New York). :)
mikeyboss on July 23, 2008 at 2:47 PM
The message (at least what I can catch through my crappy headphone speakers, here at work) seems great, but the medium is atrocious. This should have been filmed–professionally, or least semi-professionally; or at least (as mentioned before) the transcript should be made available.
