I’ve never understood why American Jews almost always vote Democrat. Democrats want to let the rest of the Middle East push Israel into the sea. They tolerate and even encourage anti-Semitic rhetoric from Americans and foreigners alike. In contrast, Republicans have always defended Israel and the Jewish people. I don’t get it.

I don’t know. a new day is dawning. Not sure what the day will bring but it will bring change. The saying that keeps running thru my mind is careful what you wish for. The only saving grace for me at this point in time is the professionalism of the military and the fact that most military people respect their other to protect the consititution. I don’t think BHO could take over that lever of power. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a military coup in oh about 2 years from now.

I really think Obama’s claim to have passed a bill out of “his” Senate Banking Committee was a bigger deal – a truly bizarre gaffe, an ueber-gaffe, his typical resume puffing brought to a new pathological level before the entire world, and in the precise context of his trying to re-assure an ally about his seriousness and trustworthiness.
