So, does that mean, as a senator, he wants us to foot the bill for his travels? Typical. If not, then he really is speaking as a candidate (which we all know his is anyway.)

Heck Obama chairs the Afghanistan committee in the Senate, has never called a meeting of the committee, and this is the FIRST time he’s been there!

Obama’s campaign released a statement when the plans for the trip were made public that the leg to Afghanistan, Iraq, Jordan and Israel was on the taxpayers dime…

Which begs the question: he if wasn’t running for President would he be visiting those places? Highly unlikely.

This is only slightly OT… I had the news on yesterday while reading HA, and glanced up to see BO disembarking from a plane, he was wearing sunglasses which he whipped off while coming down the stairs. Chewing gum and honestly, he fairly swaggered up to the greeting party. Arrogance poured off of him. Did any one else see this clip? It was something you’d expect from a real rock star, not really a presidential candidate.

Interesting that he’s chosen the Siegessäule monument for his big rally.

Much has been made of this mistake already. While the “intl. relations expert” Obama should have known the significance of that monument, I’d be willing to bet he didn’t. It’s simply another Berlin tourist attraction, after the Brandenburg Gate was nixed. Frankly, he should have chosen to speak outside the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche (Emperor William Memorial Church–destroyed during WWII and left in ruins.) It would have cemented his pacifist bona-fides with the Euroweenies.

Once again, the Obama arrogance shines through the double-talk. Anyone want to bet that the “senior policy adviser” was Dr. Susan Rice?

Ever since Hillary got out of the way the immaturity of the Obama campaign has really become transparent. How in the heck did they beat Team Hillary. I don’t blame her supporters for being pissed off. And they are going to really be pissed off watching Obama on this trip. The only one’s who will be impressed by Obama are those already under his spell.

He’s working under the premise that Americans want the Europeans to like us and they don’t so the plan is to go to the capitals of Europe and hold rallies of cheering crowds and fainting women to show Americans that making Obama president will make the Europeans like us again. But the fact is that those that aren’t under Obama’s spell don’t care what Europeans think.
