From Reuters: Mullah Rahim, the top commander for southern Helmand province, gave himself up after British forces had killed two other Taliban leaders in little over three weeks.
Hours after his surrender, another senior Taliban commander, Abdul Rasaq, also known as “Mullah Sheikh,” was killed in a British missile strike 15 km (9 miles) north of the town of Musa Qala in Helmand on Monday morning, the British army said in a statement. Three other insurgents also died.

Hey, The Maverick is coming for a visit tonight and tomorrow to my area - small-town N.E.Penna. This is cool, him coming to hang with the regular folks! He will appear for a town-hall meeting Wed morning at 10am. But now I’m wondering about the time - many people are at work at 10am. The place holds 1800 people - I hope there are not alot of empty chairs.

It’s a good pie, but you have to make sure you find a place that makes it good. Needs good pie crust and good quality ingredients or it’s crap. Make sure it’s a wet bottom shoo-fly pie like what Entelechy has linked, you want the gooey part in the filling.

Since we are off topic and open I have a thought for MM as far as her critic of T Boone Pickens…I actually watched his piece on Lou Dobbs and his plans actually make sense…why can’t we look into solar/wind to create electricity and look at a combination of OPCS/ANWR drilling and converting vehicles to run on natural gas to avoid sending $700 billion overseas every year..Now I want to hear a candidate talk about sensible ideas like that
