Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), we have two great guests to bring us up to date on the electoral cycle. John Randall of the NRSC will talk to us about Senate races around the country, and introduce us to the “micro-sites” listed below that the NRSC is sponsoring. Liz Mair joins us in the second half to talk about the RNC, the convention, and the issues arising from the Obama World Tour and Media Lovefest.

Is it me or do Conservatives have the best looking babes with brains?

FROM: “Al Franken Knocks Down Dean Heckler”
by VINCENT MORRIS, New York Post
January 27, 2004

Wise-cracking funnyman Al Franken yesterday body-slammed a demonstrator to the ground after the man tried to shout down Gov. Howard Dean. The tussle left Franken’s trademark thick-rim glasses broken, but he said he was not injured. Franken — who seemed in a state of shock and out of breath after the incident — was helped back to his feet by several people who watched the tussle. Police arrived soon after. “I got down low and took his legs out,” said Franken afterwards.

FROM: “Cultural View; Inside The Political Mimic’s Fun-House Mirror”
by ANNA DEAVERE SMITH, The New York Times
August 16, 1992

“I’m not concerned about politics for the good reasons,” said the “Saturday Night Live” writer and performer Al Franken in a recent conversation. “I’m interested for the bad reasons. I’m interested for the horse race. It’s fun to watch these people savage each other and lie.”

GT:

No it is not you, thank God…(no offense)! Conservatives do have the best looking babes with brains. To paraphrase, or quote exactly I’m not sure which off the top of my head, Ann Colter, “If Liberals had any brains they’d be Conservatives!”

Pleasing to eye and the brain!

Bubba Redneck on July 22, 2008 at 1:46 PM

Liz is a MAJOR babe, definitely has brains, but need to use them to convince the Party that you can’t be Democrats by acting like Democrats.

Kill earmarks NOW!
Secure the Border, NOW!

*beat Democrats*, not be Democrats

michaelo on July 22, 2008 at 1:49 PM

Liz needs to get the same photographer that did the Hammer. Not enough color balance there. ;-)

from Colorado: Mark Udall is the main reason I have a Bob Schaffer bumper sticker. I usually don’t go for putting them on my car.

Stop staring at me each time I refresh Liz Mair! I will not be hypnotized. I do not love you. No. Will n

Awesome show. A much improved audio feed. Should I dare to hope the your tech. problems are now just a bad memory? All you need now is to patent your air guitar sign-off.
