Meeting Michelle was a highlight, really. It was finally nice to meet someone shorter than I am. :)

She really is very gracious in person. I expected no less, of course, but it’s always great to meet one of your heroes and realize that yes, they are just real people.

Michael Steele was great to meet as well.

Michelle’s speech was awesome, and I loved how she stayed on the message that we should not be like the nutroots or emulate them in any way.

And mimi, I went down to 6th street three nights in a row, ate steak all 3 nights, and made fun of and openly mocked hippies in the street.

I agree — Drudge is pokey and really just a clipping service. But reading this stuff in context with the the interpretations put forth by Michelle, you (Ed) and Allah is far more worthwhile… by a mile!

Add me to the list supporting what Glynn and 1GooDDaDDy is saying…it’s people like The Race Card who have really spoiled what used to be a far more civil and respectful site when it came to user comments. Sometimes I forget that I’m probably not the only one who thinks like this.

Like atxcowgirl, above, I first saw Michelle on Bill O’Reily and got on HA.
And that was when I first heard of Drudge! I know, my husband says I live in a bubble, he’s correct as usual.

Kindergarten… I got it. I’m relaxed, but “first” is still inane.

That’s all fine but 50 million Drudge fans (or whatever the actual number is) can’t be wrong. For every one of our readers who prefers HA there are 100 people who prefer Drudge.

Is it that they prefer Drudge, or don’t know this site exists? My guess is the latter. But go a head and be humble Allah, it’s O.K.

I start with Drudge but Hot Air is my second site each morning to find out what’s really going on. Then on to other sites. The web has completely replace Newspapers and TV News for me and I don’t miss them one bit!

And I’d just like to reiterate what someone else earlier said…comparing Drudge to HA is like apples and oranges…their “raison d’etre” is entirely different.
