sending the wrong message to kids who might not be mature enough to understand satire, but just may be mature enough to think, “hey, it’s ok to go out and ‘get some’–I think I will!”

PETA goes for shock value, but this is just wrong.

I totally agree – wrong message to send to kids. But I guess that there are many that place their own need to be “entertained” over the possible damage done to young kids.

Bullshit. You know as well as I do that kids at a certain age are more susceptible to persuasion from sources other than their parents.

Maybe you didn’t get my point. I agree with spay/neuter. I disagree with the delivery method. It’s OFFENSIVE and doesn’t belong anywhere where my 11 year old has to see it.

Just like I didn’t want to explain to my other daughter when she was 7 what oral sex was and why the news was discussing it in relation to a sitting president.

It’s a good ad. Fox are upset over it hopefully the publicity will get the message out to pet owners. Around 6 million dogs and cats go unwanted every year.

I thought it was a good ad. Funny and to the point. I’m no PETA fan, but I have a real problem with people letting their animals breed all over the place and then just dumping the excess in shelters. We’ve bred pets for generations to want human company, and there are a hell of a lot more cats and dogs than good homes for them.

Those of you planning a steak tonight…what the hell do kittens, teen pregnancy and hamburger have to do with each other. Is that just your automatic PETA joke?
