I ask because this appears to be hosted on the real, honest-to-goodness PETA website and yet it … can’t be real. Can it?

Unless someone uploaded a faked HTML page to the PETA server, it’s real. The server headers respond as legit with no indicated redirects to another server. The HTML does not use IFRAMEs, i.e. it’s simple, straight code without embedding. The javascript referred to in the HTML header is hosted on the same server and doesn’t do any redirection tricks. The search engine on the PETA site refers to this document several times, so its closed database has included this document in its archiving, an archiving surely limited only to legitimately accessible document trees.

This isn’t a spoof except to the extent that Ingrid Newkirk is using this “shock” to indicate her post mortem wishes which, of course, will not happen. No one will carry out such a nonsensical actions even as a last wish. Heck, some of them are probably criminally prosecutable despite them being last wishes. Why doesn’t she just ask that her blood be splattered on some steak restaurant chain’s CEO? IOW’s, her wish ain’t happenin’.

However, her real wish is to get everyone excitable about her public cremation; in that regard, she’s succeeded.

There is nothing better against the cold than fur IMHO.

I see Tiffanys is no longer carrying them, I wonder if she got to them.

As they should be.

We had some help from passerbys but they weren’t able to get them. It was a guy and a girl. We were all very dressed up, high heels so my sister and I couldn’t really jog after them like we would have liked to. We filed a police report, but they do this all the time, on her orders.

I don’t get why Pam Anderson subscribes to this kind of behavior.

Does any sane person[s], really listen to the PETA loons? The whole lot of them, should be committed to the dungeons of life!

I thought PETA was actually starting to show some sense with the spay and neutering post from earlier..

This only turns them into crazyville again..

They have thrown red paint onto the runway at Bryant Park, hitting models, expensive samples, the media and the 2 front rows of the show.

They have stood outside the tent at Bryant Park attacking and protesting whatever designer they’re after at the moment running films, like the did to JLO. They were running these horrible films from China.

They have sqirted kethup, mustard and red taco sauce on people’s backs as they are walking in big cities minding their own business.

No sense at all, and she orders all of it like some kind of evil queen.

This only turns them into crazyville again..
