Video: Freed degenerate child-killer receives hero’s welcome in Lebanon

posted at 10:47 am on July 17, 2008 by Allahpundit

You have to see it to believe it. It’s like a rock concert. No wonder the Lebanese press is having a collective orgasm over the deal.

After the big welcome-home in Beirut, they swung by the grave of superterrorist Imad Mughniyeh and pledged to keep fighting the good fight. Follow that last link for a photo of Kuntar himself giving the Hezbollah Nazi salute.

Beneath the clip you’ll find another video, which the JPost initially claimed was put out by the Israeli government. I hope not; the only thing more pathetic and impotent than releasing Kuntar would be this pointless attempt to shame scumbag jihadist supporters into growing a conscience. Resign, Olmert. Click the image to watch.

Update: Wonderful: According to an eyewitness, the bodies of the two Israeli soldiers were mutilated even more savagely than Israel expected.

Where did all these hard to find disenfranchised extremist radical anti-Islam Islamists come from?

Islam is the religion of peace and has been hijacked by the enemies of Islam. How could there be so many in one spot?

Are the moderates all shopping at the mall?

“Those Palestinians are animals.”

That denigrates animals.

Palestinians aren’t even close to the dignity of insects.

Carpet bomb them now. Palestinians are a virulent plague on humanity.

It’s unbelievable that this piece of garbage survived for almost 30 years in Israeli prisons. He should have been executed on the spot for what he did.

The fact that Samir Kuntar and Hassan Nasrallah are still alive is an epic failure of the Olmert government. The swap yesterday was not only embarassing; it was dangerous, for Israel and for the United States.

Yes, the dangers of pitiful leadership. Take a good look people, then remind how important it is to berate a national hero like McCain over this issue, or that issue, and stave off unity by allowing Obama to win.

Please take a good hard look at your Israeli ally’s disaster, when you elect someone who promises & promises, only to do everything & anything opposite once in office. A look at the dangers of electing an untrustworthy fool to highest office. A good look at a flip flopping sycophant, and the left wing high speed bullet train to national disaster..

Stop Obama before it is too late, I beg of you only because here in Israel we are living the ‘Yes we can dream!’

Change! We have taken a large dump on every national & security policy of the last 60 years, to obvious national disaster. Don’t follow us on this road, don’t end up with a left wing Congress, and a fool in highest office.

What else can you expect from these losers? They are so humiliated from defeat after defeat, that they would honor a dead dog for knocking over a garbage can.

Until these people raise a few hundred steps up the evolutionary ladder of civilization, they will remain religated to being the scum and villianry they were when digging up dead WWII soldiers for their boots.

Just ask yourself, what have they done for the world lately? What do they have the capacity to do for the word other than attempt to drag the world down to their depraved level.

People have the govenment they diserve, and these losers sure don’t diserve much.

When people free themselves fro tirrany, it instills pride and loyalty. The people in the middle east are so mentally lame that they need others to do it for them.

They will be character handicaped on many levels for many years to come, and lack the resourcefullness to doi anything other than continue to be victims of their own depravity.

This is what the “negotiate unconditionally” crowd doesn’t get. It wouldn’t be seen as a step towards peace. It would be played up as a victory for Iran, with Ahmadenejad talking about how America’s move shows the Iranians to be a formidable enemy that can not be defeated militarily by even the evil Americans and Zionists.

Static on July 17, 2008 at 11:15 AM

From link in previous post

Officials said an initial examination of the bodies, transferred by Hizbullah, revealed that both soldiers were killed during the assault on their border patrol two years ago, an attack that sparked the Second Lebanon War.
Goldwasser, officials said, suffered a lethal wound to the chest from a rocket-propelled grenade and Regev appeared to have been shot in the head, perhaps when trying to escape their burning IDF Hummer.
The identification process took several hours due to the bodies’ poor state. The final identification was done using an advanced imaging system, specially brought to Rosh Hanikra, that scanned the soldiers’ teeth. DNA tests were also conducted at the crossing.
Before the identification process could begin, sappers inspected the coffins to ensure that they were not booby-trapped.

CynicalOptimist, I’m with you.

Someone tell me how it’s merciful not only to preserve the life of a “man” who smashed the skull of a little four year old girl, but to allow him to gorge himself at mealtime.

30 years this guy’s lived. The little girl he murdered would be around 34 years old now. He took her life.

Mercy to the guilty is the same as spitting on the grave of the innocent. It’s cowardly and decadent NOT to execute people like this guy, there is absolutely nothing merciful or praiseworthy for allowing pestilence like this to survive even one day.

Former IDF Chief Rabbi: Bodies’ Abuse Made ID Difficult

(IsraelNN.com) As Israel buries her fallen sons, harsh questions and details are arising from the exchange which took place yesterday. According to Israeli officials, the bodies were received in a severely-damaged state which may have lengthened the confirmation of their identities. Former IDF Medical Corps and Chief Military Rabbinate rofficials have noted the tragic expertise Israel has gathered in years of conflict, but remained shocked by what they saw yesterday at the Rosh HaNikra border crossing.

Rabbi Yisrael Weiss, former Chief Rabbi of the IDF, who was present during the transfer of the fallen soldiers yesterday, said that “the verification process yesterday was very slow, because, if we thought the enemy was cruel to the living and the dead, we were surprised, when we opened the caskets, to discover just how cruel. And I’ll leave it at that.”

HT: Powerline.

Apparently Hizbollocks multilated the bodies before they returned them.

Unfortunately, very few in the West (and that includes Israel and the US) are willing to admit what must be done to win this war. Even many of the ‘hardliners’ in the West are loathe to admit how a fight against a tribal culture that worships death must be prosecuted. It ain’t pretty, but it doesn’t work any other way.

Absolutely, if he had led in this instance we might have mailed Kuntar back to Lebanon, in installments. They brutalized our soldiers, told their mothers they are still alive minutes before handing back the pieces. How do you explain this sickness to people?

When the US saw their civilian contractors murdered & burned to a crisp, hanging and broken from a bridge people understood, but how quickly they forget. When Fathers, hard working Americans leapt to their death to escape what must have been an even worse horror, people understood, but how quickly they forget. Radical Islam 2.0, clean and reasonable, ready for international negotiations, prisoner swaps, and nuke programs.

Unfortunately, we did nothing about that event for months (until after the election), which is why the insurgency grew so rapidly and spun out of control. Fallujah should have disappeared that day (at least 10 square blocks of it around the event) and there probably would have been no insurgency to speak of.

Yeah, well our “fellow citizens” over at the Daily Kos cheered the murder of those contractors, as did “fellow citizen” Michael Moore.

One has to wonder, how many more innocent children and mothers and fathers will that terrorist and his cohorts kill in the future now that he is freed? In return for two mutilated corpses, Israel has unleashed five beasts to hunt and kill innocents once again.

I’m living in Superman’s Bizarro World … and it’s not a dream.

SilverStar830:

In return for two mutilated corpses, Israel has unleashed five beasts to hunt and kill innocents once again.

I am not sure what you are getting here, because it is Israel that got the better deal in this exchange. According to Rabbi Yaacov Perrin, “One million Arabs are not worth a Jewish fingernail.” One fingernail from an Israeli soldier would have been enough to empty all of Israel’s jails, including the 10,000 or so Palestinians. Instead of a fingernail, Israel received two bodies, and instead of 1 million Arabs, Lebanon got only 5. Israel made a good deal.

I did some searching on Lexis Nexis of all the news accounts from when the Kuntar incident took place. Funny, nobody seems to mention anyone killing the 4 year old by smashing her head on a rock. Her and her father were killed on the beach when the attackers were fleeing and ran into an Israeli patrol. Strange how Kuntar would take the time to look for a rock to smash in a girls head in the middle of a shootout.
Actually, back then an Israeli Army spokesman was claiming that the two-year-old was also killed by the attackers:

“The terrorists then stormed an apartment and took Danny Harran, 28, and his 4-year-old daughter, Annette, hostage after killing a second daughter, Yarl, 2, according to an Israeli Army spookesman.”

The Washington Post
April 23, 1979, Monday, Final Edition
Israel Shells Base In Retaliation for Palestinian Strike Israel Shells Base After Raid
By William Claiborne, Washington Post Foreign Service
JERUSALEM, April 22, 1979

Funny, I thought the mother accidentally smothered the 2 year old. I guess they decided to change that part of the story and replace it with the rock smashing one.

The story about Kuntar smashing the 4 year olds head in with a rock did not appear in the media until 1993. I wonder why it took 14 years for that info to get out.

dave742 on July 17, 2008 at 4:36 PM

Target rich environment if there ever was one.

Good Lt on July 17, 2008 at 4:38 PM

Now that the details of the prisoner swap between Israel and the Palestinians have been made public, the exchange should provide an education for those in the West who think the Palestinians are the “good guys”.

Basically, Israel exchanged 5 prisoners for the bodies of two Israeli soldiers, Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev, who had been abducted two years ago. The soldiers, plus one other, who is still held by Hezbollah (if not already killed), had became a cause celeb among Israelis, who had prayed with their families for their safe return. Instead, what Israel received were two coffins containing the bodies of the soldiers-who, it is believed, were captured alive.

How cynical, how sadistic of Hezbollah.

Meanwhile, who did Israel release to the Palestinians? Most notable was Samir Kantar, a Lebanese who had been imprisoned for the 1979 murder of an Israeli family, in which the father was killed before the eyes of his 4-year-old daughter, subsequent to which, Kantar killed the girl by smashing her skull with a rifle butt.

None of which matters to the Palestinian public which has greeted this animal’s release with celebrations and a red carpet welcome home-even by the Lebanese President!

Leaving aside the question of why Israel should engage in these prisoner exchanges, which seem to invite more kidnappings, this should highlight the evil of Hezbollah and the mis-directed sympathies of Palestinians. If this animal, Kantar, is a hero to the Palestinian populace, what does that say about the Palestinians?

For several decades, they have hitched their wagon to hijackers, terrorists, and other assorted murderers to further their cause.

Those who sympathize with the Palestinians or see shades of gray in this conflict, should pay close attention to this latest “exchange”, in which Israelis exchange imprisoned murderers for the bodies of their dead soldiers and citizens.

Uh, these are not Palestinians, folks. Not that there’s a whole lot of difference, but they are not one and the same. See Gilad Shalit.

All of those released should be terminated ASAP. In fact, they should have been shot as soon as Israel learned that Goldwasser and Regev were dead. That’s a fair trade.

Less Olmert, more Netanyahu. I’m beginning to wonder if Israel has the stomach to survive.
