saus:
So how did the Israeli commandos find dib Nasrallah? Did they look up "Hassan Nasrallah" in a Lebanese telephone book? Is that how they gathered their "intelligence"? Was there a big parade in Israel when the commandos came home with Nasrallah in chains?

Dave, you can make fun of my blog all you like, but it shows your ignorance more than ever, a few of those posts you keep yammering about were linked from PajamasMedia and were getting a couple hundred visits per hour, not bad for an Israeli blog in a foreign language. So until you can muster up the same, I'm feeling fairly comfortable about my blog which has over 100,000 visits to it..

Type in (Israel global Jihad) at google & see who's up top there and you might figure out how many people read my blog genius. You want to pick apart posts, enjoy! There are hundreds of em, let me know when you are done :)

saus:
In the thread that you linked to, you bring up the "big Baalbek raid" that happened in the first week of the war. I remember that one. That was the raid where the Israeli commandos captured Hassan Nasrallah! Except it wasn't the Hassan Nasrallah, but was actually a Lebanese grocer named Hassan Dib Nasrallah. I could see how they got confused, since Dib Nasrallah looks so much like the Hezbollah leader.

Those fearsome Israeli commandos!
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dave742,

I suggest you stop posting to save yourself further embarrassment. Because you were unable to counter any of Saus' points, you've lowered yourself to insult the traffic and entries on his personal blog.

Absolutely, but not unexpectedly, pathetic.

Keep on rooting for your brave terrorist buddies who need to 'win' a war by lobbing mortars and rockets from schools, apartment balconies and UN outposts.

You've chosen your side, and you've chosen poorly.

saus:
I love your thread that talks about the January cold snap in Israel. The one where your poor cat Jerry had to hang out by the space heater. How sad. You mentioned how "5 or 6 people have lost their lives mostly homeless people out of shelter who’ve suffered from hypothermia." I wonder, were any of these homeless people Holocaust survivors? It would certainly be ironic for Holocaust survivors to be able to live in Israel, only to do so in poverty, while the billions in reparations that have been paid go to the rich who use it to wage agressive wars and to build swimming pools. They survive the Holocaust only to freeze to death in Israel.

I think we have a special bond now. I think I am the third person to read your blog!

saus:
BTW, that's a pretty impressive blog you have there. I actually found a thread with 3 whole comments! (Although most seem to have none). I don't think the one with 3 comments really counts, since 2 of them are from one person, and the third is from yourself.

But I am sure there are thousands that are reading, but just not commenting! You are, after all, a very smart person. Smart enought to see how Israel won the 2006 war when nobody else on the planet, including the Israeli government, believes it.
Funny.

Heh, the casualties for Hezbollah were over 10 to 1, and that includes 40% of Israel's casualties in which we lost 8 in the terrorist attack, and a dozen more in a random rocket hit, compared to over 800 terrorist dead baking in the sun for three weeks because Lebanon didn't want to bury them - lest the media film & discover they were Hezbollah as opposed to the 'civilians' you are whimpering about. Israel operated across lebanon, the Hezbollah spent their time shooting rockets at our women.

Just in case I'll state that again - Israel operated within Lebanon's borders the whole time, not the other way around. Not a single large hezbollah missile left its launcher, the fact that we did not invade Lebanon in mass was due to our own political considerations, we spent more time warning collaborating hezbollah individuals to vacate their homes so we wouldn't have to slaughter them like your pals the Islamofacists routinely do - your 'analysis' is comically thin...

I have dozens of pages worth of analysis on that conflict on my blog, you are heading into foolish territory. Stick to the depraved hatred of Israel, stay away from facts & reality type stuff.

Clearly you don't know anything about militaries at all. As evidenced by the ludicrous statements above, we are CONSCRIPTION ARMY, meaning by default every able man & most women are supposed to serve to defend their home. The Hezbollah are a terrorist organization, lebanon has ITS OWN military, they did not fight Israel, Hezbollah is not the Lebanese army, if the Lebanese were fighting for their homes they would have sent their army instead of their terrorists who attacked us, not the other way around, you have an odd definition of who starts aggression there in your very small world.

Why don't you go volunteer for the 'Hezbollah Army' Dave since you are big on defending 'their homes' lol? I'm still waiting for you to sign up, that way you can prove to us how tough you are compared to the big bad Israeli army. Good luck with that. I'll see you in Lebanon, try to find some cover when we drop cluster bombs on your head that way you can come back & update us all at Hotair about your experiences..

shazbat:
The Memri you link you give at "death to America" is very funny. The quotation is “The countdown for the decline of America’s demonic power has begun”. I do not see what the problem with this quote is. Everyone knows this, and everyone talks about it. I am presently reading a book about it by Pat Buchanan. Is he a Nazi, too? The US is on the decline, and the days of their empire are numbered. Ahmadinejad adds the word "demonic" in there for effect. Big deal. You'll notice in the clip that during the speech, the cuts from the crowd to Ahmadinejad are instant. After the "countdown" quote, and before the chanting, there is a momentary black screen. The chanting is not from the speech, and is probably from a different part of the event. Ahmadinejad is likely not even on stage.

You are unable to distinguish between an isolated opinion on a blog and a massive political movement

The opinion that we should bomb Iran, and likely cause the deaths of thousands to millions, which is based upon some distorted 4-word quotes and some chanting, is not an isolated opinion on a blog. It is the opinion of millions of sheeple in this country who respond to any piece of crude propaganda they can find. The supporters of bombing Iran do form a massive political movement, and they are called Republicans. I read hundreds of posts on this blog that are far more disgusting than shouting "death to country x".

saus:

"Thanks to people like you we are feared as a massive empire with ability to control & do anything"

You are very funny. Maybe you still think it's 1967, but it isn't. Although it took them 20 years, Hezbollah kicked your juggernaut army out of Lebanon, and when they tried to re-enter two years ago, they didn't get 3 feet inside the border. A couple thousand fighters kicked the crap out of your big bad scary army. All Israel could accomplish was to fly around and bomb civilians, and then drop cluster bombs on them out of frustration after they got the shit kicked out of them. That's impressive. Unlike you, I can understand that this has nothing to do with attributes of one side or the other, or attributes of either sides religion. What counts is what they are fighting for. Israel knows their wars are wars of aggression, and this is not a good motivating force. Hezbollah if fighting for their homes and land, which is a much better motivator. I will pick the side fighting for a just cause, and the side fighting to expand their country for water sources has now reached their end. They have just about destroyed their superpower supporter by ordering them to fight wars for them, and they have nowhere left to turn.
Nobody is afraid of your army any more. The most they can do is beat the crap out of 12-year-olds at checkpoints.

Dave742 you are an apologist for the hitlers of this world because you despise Israel. Was he also mistranslated when he called my country a soon to be rotting corpse? What about the dozens of times he repeats these things, are they also 'mistranslations'? What about the calls by the Ayatollah to cut the cancer from the middle east, and on and on..

Please do something constructive, go make protests signs for when we smash Iran's programs. You know what else? There's not a thing you can do to stop it, surely this must be the most frustrating part of it all for you? I feel your pain, I empathize with you! It must be worse of all for a little Jew Zionist like me to pity your cause in this way, I can only imagine. :)))

In the end, your obsession with my country & my people tell me everything I need to know, we are doing everything right and should redouble our efforts - I know you believe these efforts come at your expense or whatever, good! Excellent in fact, nothing makes me happier than to feed your delusion. The more awesome, powerful, mighty, unstoppable, all controlling you make Israel out to be.. The better it is for me, because I live here!!

Thanks to people like you we are feared as a massive empire with ability to control & do anything, while being smaller than New Jersey! I don't know how to thank you for this, please accept my personal admiration.

Lordy, dave742, look at the the length of the utterly unconvincing verbiage you have to cut and paste to demonstrate that the diminutive dictator in the Members Only jacket isn't a Nazi. Word to the wise: if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's probably a duck, and if you have to work that hard to justify Ahmadinejad's rhetoric, both you and he are doing something wrong.

"However, Ahmadinejad has not chanted this either, so the similarities hold." Here is one of numerous clips of Ahmadinejad giving a speech to a massive crowd that erupts in shouts of "Death to America!. And also here. I imagine you will split hairs, and say that he doesn't join the chants. Yeah, he just sets them off with a rousing chorus of "The countdown for the decline of America's demonic power has begun" -- a distinction without a difference.

"Some Iranian citizens chant 'death to America,' but some Americans say the same things about Iran." Weak, Dave, weak. Show me a rally in America with 200,000 attendees all screaming "Death to Iran!" in unison. Show me Toynbee rabble rousing a crowd in a stadium of such size. Again, you make simple categorical errors. One guy expressing his desires to bomb Iran is in an entirely different category from a stadium rally sponsored by the government and explicitly designed to elicit a unified fascist expression of wiping a nation off the map. You are unable to distinguish between an isolated opinion on a blog and a massive political movement, which doesn't say much for your intelligence.

"Who is actually bringing death to other countries?" Islamist radicals like Ahmadinejad. America gets along with Canada just fine, and they have more oil than Iran. Islamist countries don't get along with anyone, and that includes other Islamic countries.

I notice you didn't address my points about the Holocaust cartoon contest or the execution of homosexuals, and your perfunctory dismissal of the rather serious issue of Iran's nuclear program evinces the shallowness of your thought.

I don't know why you are willing to waste so many pixels defending a minor league Nazi who wants to make it to the majors. I imagine you think you are doing good by muddying the waters and preventing an attack by a Western power on a Third World country. And by this logic, you go 'round the bend and are offering the odd but increasingly common spectacle of a self-styled progressive, I imagine, offering a stock defense of an obvious Nazi.

Most Iranian media reports are translated into English by BBS Monitoring International. I do not think that the BBC is intentionally lying to support Ahmadinejad's agenda. Also, if the "Arabic media" (maybe you you mean Persian media?) has the same agenda as Ahmadinejad, then shouldn't they be on the same page? You seem to be claiming that Ahmadinejad says one thing, then the media reports another. If the media is reporting something different than what AHmadinejad says in order to advance his "agenda," then why isn't Ahmadinejad doing the same? This doesn't make any sense.

How do you know that the Arabic media isn't misinterpreting it to serve their agenda? Which is, in fact remarkably similar to Ahmadinejad's.

shazbat:

Did Toynbee chant “Death to Israel! Death to America!”

As far as I know, Toynbee did not chant this. However, Ahmadinejad has not chanted this either, so the similarities hold. Some Iranian citizens chant "death to America," but some Americans say the same things about Iran. As I have pointed out before (see here on “April 8, 2008 at 5:27 PM”), people on this site continually chant "death to Iran." So citizens of both countries make comments about bringing death to the other nation. The more important point in my view is who actually does it? Iran has not started a war in 1,000 years. How long has it been for the US? The latest US war has resulted in over 1 million deaths. Who is actually bringing death to other countries?

Was Toynbee building a goddamn atom bomb

No. Neither is Ahmadinejad. The similarities are amazing.

delivering speeches with the promise that Israel would be destroyed “in a single storm”?

The way you present this quote makes it sound like Ahmadinejad is saying that Iran will be the one to deliver this "storm" to Israel. In fact, he was referring to Palestinian resistance. The quote which you refer to is the following:

“The Zionist regime is a rotten, dried tree that will be eliminated by one storm.” (1)

The Times (London) did reported this quote, as did many other MSM sources. The quote is incorrect, however, especially when looked at in context. Here is the correct quote, in context:

"Only a government chosen by the people can resolve the problem of Palestine and the people of the region. The right to govern belongs to all people of Palestine and they must decide the governing model of their choice and elect their own officials. For this purpose, there must be an opportunity for all genuine Palestinians; be they Muslims, Christians, or Jews, residing in Palestine or in Diaspora, to participate in a referendum to decide the political system of their choice and elect their leaders. In other words, the only rational way which is compatible with the generally recognized international norms is holding of a referendum for all genuine Palestinians. The supporters of the Zionist regime prefer to remain silent in face of this reasonable proposition. But I tell them that regardless of what they desire, the Zionist regime is falling apart. The young tree of resistance in Palestine is blooming and blooms of faith and desire for freedom are flowering. The Zionist regime is a decaying and crumbling tree that will fall with a storm.” (2)

I see no problem with this correct, in context quote. I agree with every word, and it is correct.

1) realite-eu.org/site/apps/nl/content3.asp?c=9dJBLLNkGiF&b=2315291&ct=4058419 quoting The Times (London) “The state of Israel will soon be history, says Iran’s President,” April 15th, 2006, by Tom Baldwin
2) globalsecurity.org/wmd/library/news/iran/2006/iran-060414-irna10.htm

Ahmadinejad has promised to wipe it off the map

The "wiped from the map" quote is from the “World Without Zionism” Speech of Oct. 26, 2005, but Ahmadinejad did not say that Israel should be wiped from the map.
First of all, there is no such expression in Farsi. Second, he was speaking of the Israeli government, and not the country itself. He said that the Israeli government should “vanish from the pages of time.” He had just finished talking about how this had happened with respect to the Shah’s regime in Iran and the regime in the Soviet Union. He was talking about regime change, not military obliteration of another country. Find someone who knows Farsi, and have them translate this: صفحه روزگار محو شود . It means vanish from the pages of time, and it was directed at the Israeli government.

He repeats this theme often. On Dec. 12, 2006, he said:

“As the Soviet Union disappeared, the Zionist regime will also vanish and humanity will be liberated.”

Once again, he is talking about the Zionist regime vanishing as the Soviet Union did. As I remember, nobody wiped the Soviet Union from the map, it collapsed internally. That’s what Ahmadinejad is talking about in relation to Israel.

Arabic media confirmed that Ahmadinejad was misquoted. From Al-Alam TV:

“Ahmadinezhad’s statements which, contrary to reports carried by the news agencies, did not contain any call for putting an end to Israel’s existence or erasing it from the map; instead they were an analytical reference to the bitter reality facing the Palestinian people who are defending, as he put it, the Islamic nation by proxy.” (3)

Everyone in the Middle East knows that Ahmadinejad was misquoted. It’s only American’s under the spell of their “free” media that believe it.

I do know of a couple on incidents where the term “wiped off the map” was used, but it was not by Ahmadinejad. One was by Lieutenant General John L. DeWitt, the Commanding General of the Western Defense Command in WWII, who said, "the Japs we will be worried about all the time until they are wiped off the face of the map.” (4) The other was from Israeli cabinet minister Meir Sheetrit, who said, “We must take a neighborhood in Gaza and wipe it off the map.” (5)

The only examples I find where this term was really used is from the US and Israel, not Iran.

DeWitt, the Commanding General of the Western Defense Command in WWII, who said, “the Japs we will be worried about all the time until they are wiped off the face of the map.” The other was from Israeli cabinet minister Meir Sheetrit, who said, “We must take a neighborhood in Gaza and wipe it off the map.”

The only examples I find where this term was really used is from the US and Israel, not Iran.

3) BBC Monitoring International Reports, “Iranian Leader Did Not Call For ‘Erasing Israel From Map’ –Al-Alam TV, Oct. 28, 2005

shazbat:

Did Toynbee chant “Death to Israel! Death to America!”

As far as I know, Toynbee did not chant this. However, Ahmadinejad has not chanted this either, so the similarities hold. Some Iranian citizens chant “death to America,” but some Americans say the same things about Iran. As I have pointed out before (see here on “April 8, 2008 at 5:27 PM”), people on this site continually chant “death to Iran.” So citizens of both countries make comments about bringing death to the other nation.

The way you present this quote makes it sound like Ahmadinejad is saying that Iran will be the one to deliver this “storm” to Israel.

“Only a government chosen by the people can resolve the problem of Palestine and the people of the region.
Get some pig farmers to donate their hogs for a little romp in the general assembly hall while he's speaking. Granted the place is full of swine already but I'm talking the four legged kind. And my apologies to all four-legged pigs for referring to the two legged scum in the UN as "pigs".

I presume Pamela Geller will be put under house arrest and seditation during the third invasion of her city. Unless that is Mad-on-Jihad doesn't get blown up by Israel first.

Oh that's right, the blogger behind Atlas Shrugs will be the likely Vice Presidential nominee for the Republicans. I presume only the Secret Service + Senator McCain having her campaign in faraway places like Sedro-Woolley, Lexington and Hell will keep her away :-).

I would love to think that someone would kill this freak while he is here, but, every time I think that, I stop and remember that martyrdom is something that he thinks he'll like. As such, I hope he has a miserable stay, but I guess he should return alive.

Toward the goal of a miserable stay, here is what I propose. Remember Oceans 13 with what those casino robbers did to the poor, hapless hotel reviewer while he tried to do his job? Think along those lines, without the happy ending. I think a good case of bedbugs, head lice, the 1918 Spanish flu, and a few other microbial niceties spread into his hotel pillows should do the trick.

I don't know, dude. Did Toynbee chant "Death to Israel! Death to America!" or did he organize Nuremburg style rallies with a fantasy sequence of destroying Israel with missiles, or hold an international conference entitled "World without America: It is achievable"? Did Toynbee execute gays for being gay or stone women to death for the capital crime of adultery? Did Toynbee organize a Holocaust cartoon contest? Was Toynbee building a goddamn atom bomb while delivering speeches with the promise that Israel would be destroyed "in a single storm"? Because if so, then yeah Toynbee would have been Hitler 2.0. You don't seem to recognize the difference between speculating that the creation of Israel was a mistake and on the other hand proactively taking steps to wipe Israel off the map.

As far as your Iranian Jews argument, it's weak; who knows what the situation is. Their options may be limited, and maybe they don't want to move to Israel seeing as Ahmadinejad has promised to wipe it off the map. And who cares anyways. Did the existence of the kamaradenpolitzei mean the Jews were cool with the holocaust?

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's secret MySpace entry:

Hi there fellow Islamic bloggers. My name is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and I am the great and fearless President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and soon to be the defacto President of Iraq too!

I was was born one of seven children to a humble blacksmith and when I was a child growing up I worked on a farm to earn extra money for my poor father and I got to know a lot of the farm animals very well. I was a real nature boy back then. I was a real animal lover. My favorites were the goats of course. I still have such fond memories of my boyhood.

Later I excelled as a student, earning my master's degree and a Ph.D in civil engineering. I have only three wifes, but as the leader of such a great Islamic country and soon to be the dominate power in the Middle East I feel that it is time for me to take my fourth
wife. If any nice Islamic ladies are reading this you should email me some time soon. You must be between the ages of 12 and 28 years old. If you are under 12 that would be alright too but you must have a note from a male relative of course.

In addition to my important duties as the Great President of the Islamic Republic of Iran I am now working on my post graduate science project, which when completed in a very few years, I will test on Evil Israel and the Great Satin America.

Who I would like to meet ... ...
In addition to my fourth wife, and remember if you are under 12 years old, you must have a note from a male
relative, I would like to meet other dedicated members of the Great Religion of <strike>Slaughter</strike> Peace, Islam of course. We can all get together after work and spend time reading inspiring passages from the Koran and comparing notes on our mutual love of farm animals. We can also go over a list of priority test sites for my developing science project. It will be a blast! It will make much bigger holes than the one in New York that I am going to visit only for comparison purposes!

saus:

I consider [Ahmadinejad] hitler 2.0

Israel has been trying to bribe Ianian Jews to move to Israel for years with little success. Why would Iranian Jews rather live under Hitler 2.0 than accept a $10,000 bribe to move to Israel? Are they stupid? I just read an interview today with the only Jewish member of the Iranian Majlis. When asked about the Iraeli bribes to move to Israel, he said, "Great numbers of Jews have been offered this infucement , but we don't want to leave our homeland. We prefer to be here."

They prefer living under Hitler 2.0 to living in Israel. Weird.
