The only thing Minnesota has going for it is if by some freak of nature Franken win, he will then have his choice of 10,000 lakes he can go jump in.

Hey, we actually have a fairly nice place to live! You must live on one of the coasts with a parochial view like that! That’s ok…we try to promote the view that we are still fighting the Indian wars out here and we all ride Old Paint up to the hitching post every morning to work. It keeps the coastal riff-raft from flooding our wonderful state and swamping our welfare system…

Jesse’s goobernatorial era photo looks much healthier than the more recent Hotair photo in the Fu Manchu style a few weeks ago. During his recent Tonight Show appearance he looked well dressed for a Grateful Dead roadie.

I agree in the hopes he can get his life and his thoughts sorted out. He seems to deeply want to do good in life so here’s to hoping he can straighten out the twisted conspiracy tracks his mind has been running on lately. I suggest he carefully read the writings of Ronald Reagan to see how Ronaldus Magnus made the transition from actor to host, to Screen Actors’ president, to California governor, to monumental President holding steadfast to principles while maintaining public admiration despite the Old Media’s disdain.

I hope/pray Jesse spends some time in meditation and prayer. He has some issues, for certain – nothing he can’t conquer with the Lords help. But we need people of his intensity/mentality. Its too bad that the GOP never went all out to recruit this guy and convert him over from this nutty “truther” thinking tangent he’s on. The man has innate leadership capabilities. If he could clear the cobwebs from his mind, he’d be a force to be reckoned with. Such potential. Tragic to see it wasted. DD

As another Minnesotan who suffered through Jesse’s pathetic term as governor, I can only breathe a sigh of relief that he decided not to run for Senator. When people from other states asked me what the people of MN were thinking when they elected him, I could only respond with “frostbite of the brain”.
