In regard to the Printing shop, it has long been my experience that an alternative - to any original process is usually of poor quality, and overpriced to boot. Name me one chemical process that has been improved by moving to an alternative. The reason for the original is that chemists have spent a lot of time and effort in arriving at the ultimate practical solution. It can be taken for granted that “alternatives” were tried, and rejected as being inferior.

Add the fact that she pushed her womanhood, and we have discriminatory quoting practices. I wouldn’t give her any work either.

Exactly right! I had to cancel our longtime subscription to Readers Digest years ago when they went to soy ink because every time we handled the magazine the ink would smear and come off on our hands!!! We considered this major pollution of our environment!!!

Speaking of the footprints, aren't we all admonished to buy locally, so as to minimize the transportation costs of our goodies?

So, if the convention is so "green", are the Dims worried about the increased cost and use of fuel to ship/transport people and products from NYC (and wherever else) to Denver?

to Bob's Kid-Pawlenty is a McCain insider, so having the Repub convention in St. Paul is good on good. Businessmen know how to do business-agitators and (ahem) community organizers only know how to obstruct business. And tax business. And vilify business in speeches. And...
The Twin Cities will benefit greatly from the Convention.
Denver will be graced by the presence of Air America Radio hosts...'nuff said.

I'm pretty sure that all democrats are bi-lingual. That way they aren't embarrassed by other nations when they travel abroad and can't speak the local dialect.

Is the Monsieur Obama bilingual or does he need the government tell him which additional languages he should know?

And BTW, if these Spanish-speaking Democrats are voters, shouldn’t they already know how to speak English, since English proficiency is supposed to be a requirement for U.S. citizenship, and U.S. citizenship is supposed to be a requirement for voting in U.S. elections?

People in Denver are just seeing the democratic party elitest do their thing. The "common" people who they base their power on are not good enough to share the wealth leeched from their constituents. A prime example is the black vote being over 92% of their voting block and what has a democrat ever done for the black race unless it was an election year. Saddam Hussein couldn't get 92% of the vote in Iraq and he was the only one on e ballot.

Anyone who is not Democrat insider/funder who expects anything at all positive from this criminal collection of incompetent clowns will end up sorely disappointed.

Including the addled rubes who cast votes for Democrats.

Democrat politicians are walking/talking disasters. You'd be more likely to get a cockroach to paint another Mona Lisa, than you would be to get a Democrat politician to do anything for you besides steal your wallet.

I wonder how impressed Coloradans are with Democrats after watching them stage this convention?

Not at all.
Actually, most of us are sorry they're coming here, very sorry. ( bars and eateries are the only ones with a chance at making a buck...maybe the parking lots)
Businesses downtown are NOT looking forward to this disaster of a plan. The Naked Bike Day and Recreate 68 have better planning strategies than the DNCC.

ensures its paper mills replant the trees they use.

I'd like to see how they do that.

They local businesses that will clean up will be the ones where Denver cops spend their overtime money.

Answer: not very. I knew my city was shcrewed as soon as the selection was announced. The best outcome would be that it helps run Mayor John (poor taste in national anthem singers) Hickenlooper and Governor Bill Ritter out of town on a rail.
