Snow lied and spun for the administration. If you don’t like people that lie for criminals the of course you won’t think that the country has lost anything of value by his passing. If you rely on people like Snow to give you your thoughts so you can defend the criminals you would think that his passing has been a very important loss. It’s pretty much that simple. I have been on both sides of the coin in the past decade so I know how pretty much both of you feel. The ones that defend people like snow are pretty much in denial, they know it down deep, but as long as everyone you get your information from keep saying the same thing you think you are on the right side.

Your statement is laughable. I guarantee that I don’t rely on anyone for my thoughts: I’m smart enough to think for myself. I’ve already been on the left and I grew out of it. I also know more about politics and how things work in DC than you ever can or will: I grew up in and around it.
I know you’re a Ron Paul supporter, which basically just means that you want to be a Republican, but it’s not “rebellious” or cool enough. Just because someone doesn’t believe in wacky, demented conspiracy theories or isn’t paranoid to the extent that they think the CIA is tapping their phone line, (they’re not, btw – don’t trust those voices in your head,) doesn’t mean we’re gullible.

Although you can always count on it from the more mainstream left. I have heard lefty friends of mine wish they could assasinate our president; I have never ever heard that talk coming from conservatives that I know – even the ones on this and Michelle Malkin’s message boards – and if someone did act like that here, nearly everyone on this board would condemn them. No, it’s more acceptable and prevalent on the left – and not on the fringes of the left, either.

These are people who know that if they acted appropriately, they would otherwise be invisible.

I feel so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!I hope this low piece of trash suffered tremendously while he was dying, and visions of the thousands of iraqis that he helped kill were constantly in his eyes. I hope Tony Snow rots in hell for eternity. I hope Bush and Cheney look at this low life person’s eyes, and knows that eternal hell and satan is waiting for them too.

I am speechless. I just went to MsUnderestimated’s site and watched the video with Tony and Dick Gregory. It was the most touch and poignant thing I have ever seen. At one point, in talking about a paper his son wrote about him, Tony choked up and said “It’s great to love someone that much.” I am absolutely flabbergasted that anyone could post something like this about anyone. But Tony Snow was special. I am sure he wouldn’t say so, but I know that he was.

Thanks for the very kind words. I appreciate the sentiment but like most vets we did what we were asked to do and don’t see it as that big of a deal. The ones who didn’t come back or came back maimed and suffering are the people who are our betters. For me it was a privilege to know them and I stand in their shadow.

On a lighter note – I think you are on point about inevitability. Nov is still a long way away.
