There seems to be some “testing of the waters” going on here lately, either by genuine bigots or Mobys seeking to discredit prominent right-leaning sites – doesn’t matter which, they’re functionally identical.

Vigilance is in order. Interesting that the vilest remarks tend to come from the self-described True Conservatives™, although their behavior clearly indicates that they are neither.
