Quote of the day

“Some people think that if a large number of racist incidents are reported, this will reflect badly on the institution. In fact, the opposite is the case.”

Blowback

So what does it mean if I don’t like watermelon but do like fried chicken?

/stirring up trouble

baldilocks on July 7, 2008 at 10:40 PM

Just as long as the chicken is fried in government mandated 0% trans fat cooking oil

Sanjoboy on July 7, 2008 at 11:55 PM

We should bomb the UK and put them out of their misery. They have been conquered by stupidity.

Ropera on July 7, 2008 at 11:56 PM

aengus,

We can only watch as the EU implodes, you and yours can and best do something and do it fast. You are correct in your most astute observation on human nature, wrath by forced necessity and sadism as a measure of commitment!

dmann on July 8, 2008 at 12:00 AM

aengus,

I rest my case!

dmann on July 8, 2008 at 12:15 AM

Why the hell is your once great nation acquiescing to the very people who are out to destroy your way of life?

Sincerely,

…… a concerned earthling.

fogw on July 7, 2008 at 9:30 PM

Because you see Mr. C. Earthing, in their world everything is nonsense. Nothing is what it is, because everything is what it isn’t. And contrary wise, what is, it isn’t. And what it shouldn’t be, it should be. You see?

They already are completely enslaved. What it will take to end that enslavement I dare not speculate…

Perhaps Pope Urban II could make a return visit to Earth.

fogw, you killed me with yer comment. Good on you, and yours!

profitsbeard, I have a can of that in the pantry, given to me on my birthday, intended as a spoof (being a collector of cookbooks from around the world, wherever I’ve been, I knew, however :)

Funny thing was, I went to the store shortly after and heard a couple, with a heavy British accent, ask the clerk for it…just imagine “spotted”…everyone turned around…

On topic, I had to wear red cravattes around my neck as a kid – this scares the living…out of me. I’m speechless at the cluelessness of the so-called intelligentsia.

My father sat us down as kids and said “We’ve got gypsies in town. If I ever hear you not respect them the same as all others, your behind will be kissing the whip.” I ate with them, to the dismay of all others. I went to their weddings, to the dismay of all others. When my mother died at the age of 33, the gypsies all came to the funeral and mom’s family was apalled. My father and I smiled, internally. Mother too.

How a free people can relent so lemming-like and walk over the cliff into submission, and lose life even, in the name of PC, is completely beyond me.

Must be very vigilant.

Entelechy on July 8, 2008 at 12:40 AM

aengus, it’s always good when you’re in the HA parlor. I treasure your immense knowledge and cerebral sobriety.

Entelechy on July 8, 2008 at 12:43 AM

And so the English who gave us the Magna Carta in 1215, William Blackstone and the foundation of American law are slowly succumbing to the dictates of intolerant Islam and sowing seeds of their own destruction.

Entelechy on July 8, 2008 at 12:46 AM

One more from link, above

There is no due process under Sharia law. Lord Phillips has signed the death warrant for his nation if his opinion becomes the law of England. It’s one thing to fight a war and lose it. It’s quite another to willingly surrender without a struggle.

Your idea to let Muslims conquer, rape and murder millions of Western Europeans and only then attempt to deal with jihad – after the Muslims have attained the weapons and power base from which they might destroy the US – is not rational but rooted in wrath and sadism.

Let my heart grow colder and as bitter as a falcon in the dive
There was a dream, a dying ember
There was a dream, I don’t remember
But I will resurrect that dream
To be younger and fiercer and fly
Piercing into the sky and higher
And the strong will thrive
Yes, the weak will cower while the fittest will survive
If we wait for the darkest hour
Till we spring alive
Then with claws of fire, we devour like a falcon in the dive

Its not really the how, it is very much the why. Cultural relativity is born out of freedom and as such can easily be manipulated by those with an agenda. Real and honest freedom keeps most “comfortably numb” and to some degree smittent to the underdog. Good faith is afforded to all newcomers and its reciprocallity is assumed, here in lies the rub! The Muslim immigrant community does not come in good faith, they are not “comfortably numb” and as such target their new hosts values and culture as an impediment to their assimilation, it is the perfect flim-flam scam but with much more dire consequences.

While its easy (and correct) to ridicule the EU for all its PC mindlessness, half the US has just nominated a far-left laughingstock of a candidate for president in wartime, and the other half is letting the PC crowd totally infect every cultural institution necessary for national survival.

I’d say its a draw.

There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, that is Pete, Georgie, and Dim, Dim being really dim, and we sat in the Korova Milkbar making up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening. . .

Anthony Burgess will never know just how close to the truth he wrote about.

There is truth to fiction.

I caught the conclusion last night of the BBC WWII program interviewing Churchill’s aging daughter, but narrated by a revisionist historian tracing communism to date (China). His closing line, “Who really won the war”.

Perhaps it is in the intrinsic independent nature of America that our hope remains steadfast to NOT SUCCUMB to Marx.

This campaign’s CHANGE mantra is wearing so thin; it’s grating on nerves and bone marrow.

You know what they’re setting this up for, right? Right now, it would be too crazy to start arresting people for simply having racist attitudes (well maybe it wouldn’t, because it has happened), but if they can claim that the authoritarian nanny-state system has been heading off these root causes from birth, then no-one is to blame for a racist attitude but the person himself. Once they know that no citizen has been ignored by this system and that everyone should have been taught that racism is wrong, they can start rounding people up for being racist.

Do not neglect to note that the government is collecting negative records on each baby to be used against them throughout life, at school, at work, in court. “This person showed signs of intolerant racism since nursery school!”

maverick muse on July 8, 2008 at 6:41 AM

So goes public education in England.

Private elite schools, on the other hand, rely on intolerance for their very survival–the leaders force feeding marx to the masses to keep them in line under the whip of authoritative abuse.

Children who reject food are racist? OMG ALL CHILDREN ARE RACIST.

I think the idea of weeding out and addressing true racist tendencies among children is a very good one and a very important one. Kids learn racism from their own families or other kids who got it from their families. But the food thing is just stupid.

Dave Rywall on July 8, 2008 at 8:39 AM

My kids must be the most racist kids on earth, and the target of their hate changes daily. Some days, they only eat food of one color (and never the same color amongst the kids).

I refuse to bow down to my Orwellian Overlords. And so will my children.

Anna on July 8, 2008 at 9:05 AM

So if I won’t eat a raw goat bollock (a la Bear Grylls) I’m a racist?

In for a penny, in for a pound. This hyper-racial tripwire is going to cause some serious blowback.

I’ll say it again, we white people will be the first in history to enslave ourselves.

Grafted on July 8, 2008 at 10:44 AM

I would love to feed their 3-year-olds sushi, wait for the reaction, and see if they claim their own kids as racist.
