Liberals always make sure things don't work. Remember, they've already brought us:

Showers which don't work.
Toilets which don't work.
Curly light bulbs which are dangerous and don't work.
Hybrid cars which require you to spend your money on enormously expensive batteries instead of gas: resulting in net savings of zero and a LARGER negative impact on the environment.

...and they're now designing:
Tiny cars which are dangerous and don't work.
Windmills which don't work most of the time.
House-sized solar cells which can't even run a toaster.
Medicare "fixes" which will cause most doctors to leave the Medicare system.
Immigration "fixes" which will destroy the concept of "citizenship" and make it attractive to be a non-citizen.
A Stalin-style takeover of the energy producers in order to assure that no energy is actually produced.
Various public transportation systems which require $3 in taxes for every $1 in fares to keep them solvent.

Is it a wonder that Denver is shaping up to be a disaster? No, it's just Liberals doing their usual thing.

"For the Democratic Party, the danger is that a poorly run convention, or one that misses the mark financially, will reflect badly on the party and raise questions about Democratic management skills."
LOL. This reminds me of the parties i had as a teenager when my folks were out of town.
Here's more evidence of the childish mindset of the Demonrats:
"For a party that rails about deficit spending, they certainly don’t have a problem running up bills they cannot pay." Let me guess, their response to this comment would be: 'Well, they do it too!!!' Maroons.
Ed scores on this one: "If the Democrats can’t pull together a four-day convention in two years, how can anyone expect them to run a federal government of infinitely more complexity?" Indeed.

He could have kept his word and accepted the public financing that

There you go again, assuming/insinuating that the democrats are basically ethical like the rest of us. "Conservative" pundits are amazing. I heard hugh hewitt get his panties in a wad the other day because a caller said barry was a fascist. They are fascists. By the book, by the leftist leaninf webster dictionary definition. They are also corrupt and unethical and the enemies of freedom and I don't care who gets upset but I'm not going to call people who hate our form of government, our economic system and our history patriotic.

soros has deep pockets and barry will not be left wanting. They are not worrying about money.

I can't believe that Morrissey and a couple of commenters have misquoted the original article, despite it being right there.

only three states’ full delegations have so far agreed to participate in the program [emphasis added]

Fortunately, this doesn't break Morrissey's point that Dean's response doesn't contradict this claim. In fact, I read this as allowing delegates from any number of states to have signed up, but that only for three states have all the delegates agreed.

The idiocy of the Democrats is breathtaking. Here in Illinois, Democrats have control of every area of political life, and the results are not unlike the ass-clown convention follies in Denver. Too much stupidity to list.

All the while, Herself sits in her lair at Mordor on the Potomac and let’s Barry O’ and his faithful stooge HoHo Dean make a complete and public balls-up of ‘RatFest08. She and her Grifter Consort can then ride in to Save The Party and let the SooperDelegates crown her The Nominee…

Considering giving his acceptance speech at Invesco and on the anniversary of King's I have a dream speech is arrogance.

An arrogant party selected the most arrogant candidate, any surprise in that?

And then there is the food: A 28-page contract requested by Denver organizers that caterers provide food in “at least three of the following five colors: red, green, yellow, blue/purple and white.” Garnishes could not be counted toward the colors. No fried foods would be allowed. Organic and locally grown foods were mandated, and each plate had to be 50 percent fruits and vegetables. As a result, caterers are shying away.

You mean they couldn't hire Robert Irvine (Food Impossible) to do this??

What about the Ultimate Top Chef?

Not to worry. This is FAR OUT!

Consider the thin air at 5200 feet in elevation, the euphoria elicited by BHO's soaring speeches, the body's reaction to the deprivation of protein and fats, the visual disorientation brought on by the mix of psychedelic food colors, all mixed with the lingering clouds of cannabis smoke just upwind of the media tent.

That may all just give a whole new meaning to Rocky Mountain High.

John Denver would have been so proud.

members of the national news media concerned over proposals to locate the demonstrators — with their loud gatherings — next to the media tent.

You have to admit, though, that Keith Doberman and Chrissie "Tingles" Matthews will look pretty in Pink(o). "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," doncha know?

Bingo. Just one more reason why he should be on the ticket with Mac. What a compare and contrast that is - the ads write themselves.

Further indication that Democrat run health care would mistakenly give you a sex change instead of a heart transplant and the instant you complained about it would accuse you of insensitivity to alternative lifestyles.

Ok ok.... I'm not made of stone! This has convinced me that the government should run everything from Healthcare to the oil industries. It's time for change. And hope.

Well, gee, if the Dem machine can release those RED balloons when Obama assumes the throne after cooly sauntering down the catwalk, then the cost of the event will be peanuts.

99 red balloons floating in the summer sky
Panic bells, it's red alert
There's something here from somewhere else
The Hopey/Change machine springs to life
Opens up one eager eye
Focusing it on the sky
Where 99 red balloons go by.

How will the Dems pay for the inauguration lollapalooza at this rate of burning up the (non-existent) cash?

Unfortunately, I anticipate the Democrats' convention to be one 3 or 4 day ORGASM by the main stream media over this vapid, empty suit. I don't think we are going to get objective reporting anywhere in the press or on the networks.

One thing that puzzles me is why the demonstraters always target the Dems, the party that caters to the whackos? And by putting the APPROVED demonstrators next to the media tent, they might unintentionally get more press than they would have otherwise. And I also wonder where the recreate 68 whackos plan to put themselves since they won't be on the approved list? This will be one interesting week.

I agree! Let's make sure that they get credit for this. Let's also open up a hot dog stand right outside their gate. We'll clean up.
