Yes, they are good at the art of parody. If their leftism is what makes them funny, then I put it to you that the right sucks at humour. I would also put it to you that such a statement is self evident based on the reactions to the Onion satire.

If you think that the Onion thinks Bush is to blame for everything, then it is you who are clueless and blinded by ideology.

You can watch a morning show on the alphabets or on cable news. You can watch MSNBC, Fox News or CNN. If you can’t see that the Onion mocks the base stupidity of the anchors and the content free “news”, then I say that you have never watched American broadcast TV.

Yes, and George Bush has done nothing to warrant these scurrilous attacks. I have no idea what the clear political agenda is, and I suspect that if you have been reading the Online version since the Mid 90′s, you would come to the same conclusion.

My argument is that the Onion is nothing more than the media ramped up to 11. That’s what I see because I work in the media. I have had this same discussion with lefties who praise the awesome editorial depth of the Onion.
