Just the fact that they are openly discussing how the money and bombs get into Iraq is a big deal. Even without the subliminals, there is only one country they could be referring to.

At least the Canadians. At some point in the next 100 centuries or so, Canada will be under about a mile of ice and every single building will be deposited somewhere between New York state and Montana after being scraped off the face of the Earth. But yeah, the sun brightens and expands as it ages so “global warming” is inevitable.

I’m pretty skeptical about Iraq especially after reading many of the old British accounts of their efforts. (Gertrude Bell Project) But any time a Shia faction seems to oppose Tehran that’s a good thing. Making the Iranians de facto rulers of Iraq is the most compelling argument our efforts have failed. So if it’s not true then it’s the most compelling argument for success.

Hugh Fitzgerald would rap me on the knuckles for ‘hoping’ things work out, over the wisdom of experience, but I’m afraid that’s all I’ve got.
