Ah, those Columbia professors…
DCJeff on July 1, 2008 at 10:44 PM
What an incredible combination…. a Tibetan monk AND a professor at Columbia…. couldn’t make that up.
ultracon on July 1, 2008 at 10:46 PM
I bet he wishes he was sucking on some other part of Dick Cheney..
fruitcakes.
Chakra Hammer on July 1, 2008 at 10:47 PM
Im sure this was one of those people wondering if cheney was looking at a nude woman wearing sunglasses.
William Amos on July 1, 2008 at 10:48 PM
What a moron. Cheney should take him duck hunting sometime…
elduende on July 1, 2008 at 10:48 PM
We’re doomed.

Bob's Kid on July 1, 2008 at 10:48 PM
Palin for VP!
Ropera on July 1, 2008 at 10:49 PM
Can’t say that I’ve ever imagined Cheney’s hairy nipples in my face. Nope. Pretty sure I haven’t. Well; maybe just once.
lorien1973 on July 1, 2008 at 10:51 PM
Me, too. Best vice president ever. Teh Fred has the same kind of gravitas and comfortable-in-his-own skin confidence. Cheney-Thompson 2012!
Terrie on July 1, 2008 at 10:52 PM
Ropera at 10:49 PM-
LOL!
(But these fools would probably just meditatively picture Palin as a man in their “previous lifetimes” and imagine licking his bony kneecaps.)
profitsbeard on July 1, 2008 at 10:53 PM
Ropera on July 1, 2008 at 10:49 PM
Saludos che desde Miami estuve en tu blog. muy interesante. I’ll second that Palin seems to be on her game.
elduende on July 1, 2008 at 10:54 PM
Lorien, you just made me spray milk from my nose. Hairy man milk.
Terrie on July 1, 2008 at 10:54 PM
Sometimes more details aren’t better.
A simple “Maybe” would have sufficed.
SteveMG on July 1, 2008 at 10:55 PM
Hmm… sometimes the Kirstin Powers gal makes me kinda mad…
Hollowpoint on July 1, 2008 at 10:55 PM
Yeah, that wasn’t good. And by ‘wasn’t good’ I mean, it was funny. And by ‘it was funny,’ I mean, don’t do that again.
Yuk.

Very glad.

I look forward to Cheney’s speech in St. Paul!
SouthernGent on July 1, 2008 at 11:10 PM
Well, it wasn’t as bad as I feared. Thankfully.
Kinda’ looks like a female golfer.
SteveMG on July 1, 2008 at 11:12 PM
I agree we’re doomed. I CAN’T BELIEVE half of the stupid shit I read online.

misterpeasea on July 1, 2008 at 11:16 PM

Ya know, when I’m ticked off by liberal’s words or actions,
the last thing I ever want to do,is practise positive
reinforcement techniques or self desentitization!
But I guess,if it floats a Liberal’s boat,the more power
to him or her!
But my g-d,the left is so possessed with Dick Cheney, get
a life!PLEASE!!!!!
canopfor on July 1, 2008 at 11:47 PM
I felt certain that was going to be a Gutfeld quote.
mikeyboss on July 1, 2008 at 11:49 PM
I have to wonder why this guy spends so much time being angry at Dick Cheney? If he would spend his days trying to teach his students and not obsessing about every “crime” of the bush regime he just might not have to dream about sucking Dick…’s boobs
Sorry for the language… I couldn’t help it.
Gwillie on July 1, 2008 at 11:51 PM
I’m all for learning new things. I just tried this fella’s technique using a couple of HA commenters to substitute for Cheney. It didn’t work out too well.
Limerick on July 1, 2008 at 11:54 PM
Makes you wonder what kind of baby bottle this guy sucked on
Travis1 on July 2, 2008 at 12:00 AM

Sigy on July 2, 2008 at 12:36 AM
Shouldn’t Monk be replaced with Dumb Liberal White Guy making $200,000 a year. Seriously, If i was a monk i’d be friggen pissed with all these damn people coming and ruining my land, stealing my religion and pretending to have faith because its the cool thing around. Having a job and being a monk I don’t believe are compatible.
Rbastid on July 2, 2008 at 12:38 AM
Dear winemkr, you must rest and then take it a notch down.
Haven’t you noticed Doubleplusundead before? It’s not called The Moronosphere News Network for nothin’. Relax.

Ok……I tried again. Chanted my uhms and Umas..er umahs….and it almost worked. There I was, snuggled up to Momma Cheney, and then the SOB dropped me on my head. I give up.

“Cheney/Bush 2008″
it’s not only legal… it’s the right thing to do.
Kaptain Amerika on July 2, 2008 at 1:10 AM
Now I can sleep well, sure in the knowledge that our yutes are getting a damn fine education from the likes of this enlightened soul. This takes New Age psychobabble to a “higher plane”.

Guy, stop it.. I’m a neo-con, you are giving me goose bumbs. Someone get me a hairy Cheney man nipple with a large serving of Bush pronto. The only think better would be my own personal B2-Spirit, you know.. for cruising.

After watching where and who she’s been with, I’d rather spend my lonely nights with the lint trap in the clothes dryer. At least I’ll know what I’m gonna catch.
With that in mind, and same sex marriage being in the news, I’m glad I have someone of the opposite sex for my partner. I could have gone for a toaster or some other appliance…, at least I could have returned it for the money back, and a prenup wouldn’t be necessary!!!
For the appliance… that is…
Kini on July 2, 2008 at 2:15 AM
Mmmmeehhhhh………… money for sex, who could have imagined?
Seven Percent Solution on July 2, 2008 at 2:15 AM
Dude. Is that appliancephilia a new thing?

Spatulas can be interesting in so many levels…..
An they don’t mind how they are handled or griped…
^-^
Kini on July 2, 2008 at 2:58 AM
I’m sure the Good Professor could tell us why embracing your inner spatula is good for your bladder or some such nonsense.
hillbillyjim on July 2, 2008 at 3:07 AM
With guys like this Thurman and William Ayers teaching our younger generations, what could possibly go wrong?
hillbillyjim on July 2, 2008 at 3:09 AM
Like we could tear any of you morons away from your sweet, sweet Val-U-Rite long enough to have sex.
It's Vintage, Duh on July 2, 2008 at 3:22 AM
hillbillyjim,
Heh! I can still remember my old prof from school stating “I am the teacher, you are the student”, and you can imagine that statement in a low growling pompous voice when I questioned why politics and physics were in the same curriculum that I was paying to be taught.
Silly me for asking for my moneys worth of education.
When it’s the intellectuals that are the first to be eliminated in oppressive regimes – you would think history would be a guide to self preservation.
Kini on July 2, 2008 at 3:32 AM
You would think, indeed.
The only interest most of these “intellectuals” bother with history is when it is in their interest to rewrite it.

hillbillyjim on July 2, 2008 at 3:42 AM
Agreed – with those competing for POTUS – will they be judged by their mentors lessons?
Inquiring minds wanna know :)
Cheney my not be one without sin, but he is one that has been there, done that.
Obama’s mentors, have been there and done that also, but what can we expect from a similar lesson learned?
Kini on July 2, 2008 at 3:56 AM
That’s the Sixty-four Dollar Question, isn’t it?
I personally don’t think it bodes well for us.
hillbillyjim on July 2, 2008 at 4:03 AM
I cannot agree with you more. The amount of fervor for a candidate with known associations with terrorist, like Bill Ayers, confounds me to no end. Let alone his preacher of 20 years with views about America.
Yet, he’s some kind of messiah. I keep wishing it was all a dream, caused by some kine of bad cheese.
Kini on July 2, 2008 at 4:19 AM
ewwww This is creepy!
becki51758 on July 2, 2008 at 6:06 AM
Heh, good one.
‘Scuse a random OT comment on your handle BTW, but didn’t you used to have no comma in it? Had thought it was a clever way of saying “what[ever] I just posted has been obvious for a long time.” Now tho still cool it means something different. Punctuation is fascinating.
Also fascinating in general are people’s handles on teh internetz and why they have them. Some day AP or Ed will post some news article on names people choose for themselves, and some of these stories will come out. That’ll be fun.
inviolet on July 2, 2008 at 6:10 AM
“Tibetan monk Robert Thurman”
Funny, that name doesn’t sound tibetan. Maybe he shortened it from robert thurman sherpa.
peacenprosperity on July 2, 2008 at 7:14 AM
This ny dodo bird tries to snuggle up to Cheney’s breast and Cheney will fill him full of birdshot.
peacenprosperity on July 2, 2008 at 7:18 AM
Robert Thurman does for Tibetan monks what the un-Reverend Wright does for pseudo Christianity. Thurman has a titty fixation on male boobs, bad enough, but to drag Buddha into his death wish on a mother fixation as he visualizes himself sucking Cheney dry!
maverick muse on July 2, 2008 at 7:25 AM
Thurman will not forget the GWB hard line “don’t mess with Texas” attitude after the 9/11 attack. Bush showed the international community that the USA still had plenty of balls whether they did or not, whether they liked balls or not, and we have not been attacked again yet (knock on wood).
Now imagine Bobama having been POTUS at 9/11 and the perpetual terrorism that we would suffer at home with his lack of American character, appeasing and dealing with the perpetrators of our destruction, telling us to kiss his change that came.
I swear, we have had a lot to gripe at Bush for passing off during his presidency that knocked the wind out of conservatives. But Bush only boxed our ears and gave us a good beating on the grounds of our differences. Bobama will cut the chase and our jugular while convicting whoever comes to our aid. Bobama already ushers in the age of marx in America as “American”, as “patriotic”.
Don’t tread on me.
maverick muse on July 2, 2008 at 7:45 AM
Uma Thurman’s dad dreams of Dick Cheney as his wet nurse. Now I know why that poor girl is so mixed up. I thought it was just ’cause of the weird name.
Mrs. Happy Housewife on July 2, 2008 at 8:23 AM
Heh..
I often meditate that I nursed at Uma Thurman’s breast..
DaveC on July 2, 2008 at 8:41 AM
This is too funny. Just the other night my husband and I were talking about how awesome Cheney is, if only because he’s able to rouse the hatred of the masses for no good reason at all. This makes me admire the VP even more.
I love Uma, but WTF is up with her Dad?
Anna on July 2, 2008 at 8:43 AM
Yeah, maybe winemkr should imagine himself at AP’s breast to get over his anger.
Aggie85 on July 2, 2008 at 9:42 AM
Wow! This thread went uber-weird!

Just the fact that someone would even interview WACKOS like this amazes me….
pueblo1032 on July 2, 2008 at 9:53 AM
Poor liberals: their mental disease makes them so confused!
Liberals fear competence, and trash anyone who has it.
Liberals value incompetence, and view failure as a virtue.

It was more just a combo of laziness and anxiety. I didn’t know if wordpress would allow a lot of punctuation for some reason, and I was afraid that new registration would shut down while I tried to figure it out. But I finally got to change it.
