Much of the progress we’ve made in making Americans safer by placing reasonable restrictions on the possession of firearms is now in doubt. It’s a bitter irony that this setback comes in the name of a right to self-defense. As Senator Kennedy has repeatedly pointed out, members of the Roberts Court have consistently shown their determination to impose regressive changes in the law despite their claims of judicial humility at their confirmation hearings.”

Don’t these two birdbrains know what the Second Amendment says? “Regressive” my fanny! I guess that Roberts and Alito were not deferential enough to the Old Bull.

I was thinking Sotada-Says One Thing And Does another. Then I found out it was recipe for grilled scallions in almond tomato sauce:

Preheat grill. Place scallions on cooler part of grill and cook until dark green and tender, about 2 minutes per side. Meanwhile, place almonds, tomatoes, garlic, paprika, mint and parsley into a mortar. Grind to fine paste and place in a mixing bowl. Whisk in oil to emulsify and add vinegar. Remove scallions from grill and toss in bowl. Toss to coat and serve hot or cold

And you effed it up something awful. You took both sides of the ruling and both sides of the gun ban. You’re on all four sides of a single issue – you have it surrounded.

In particular, I’m curious to see what percentage of well informed voters from each side think he’s honestly changing his mind about this stuff versus what percentage think he’s acting out of pure political expedience.

He finally won me over! Normally I tire of the “change” and “hope” nonsense, because he never gives us any specifics, etc. But here he’s shown us exactly what kind of “change” he’s all about. Changing positions. Now, for the obvious joke (re: “changing positions”) – If only Hillary had followed the same game plan years ago, Bill might not have been so bored and needed to seek action elsewhere.
