Marla Collins, I believe. I recall hearing about an early spring game, when she was dressed for the weather, and Harry Carey noted that she was out of her normal costume, by saying on live radio, “this is the first time I’ve seen her out of her hot pants”.

Glad I’m not the only one noticing this. Not respectful to believers on this site. At all. AP has a better vocabulary than to have no other alternatives to “Wow” or “Sheesh.”

Think I’m gonna start saving links for a list to show to AP all at once – only takes a sec to save them – cause the most charitable explanation is, AP doesn’t realize how much, or how ostentatiously, he’s doing it.

I can assure you that there isn’t anybody in Tacoma anywhere near creative enough to come up with something like that.

I feel fairly confident that nobody from Tacoma will challenge me on this point because it’s unlikely any of them have computers let alone Internet access.

At least Tacoma is a place where you don’t have to be a millionaire to buy a house.

Also, the graphics and overlays on the screen are not consistent with actual Fresno broadcasts. (the statdium had to be Fresno, Cheney stadium in Tacoma looks nothing like that).

Finally, when they show a shot of the catcher “Alfonso” it’s clear the image is reversed. (you can see the backwards “s” in Grizzlies on the left side of his chest, not to mention his glove is on his right hand and there hasn’t been a left-handed catcher that I can remember since about 1990).

A reversed image wouldn’t have happened on a live sports broadcast.
