Holder was also U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia before his appointment to DOJ. He very visibly agreed with DC’s gun ban, which is probably going to be overturned by the Supreme Court today. That’s not going to help his image, and it’s going to remind all those “bitter” gun owners in that Obama is definitely not on their side.

Umm, countries like Iran, Cuba, Saudi Arabia, et al already grant custody of American citizen children to the parents living in their countries. The US is one of only a few countries that obey forgein courts’ custody decisions.

The agent of change sure is big on bringing in every free agent from the Clinton administration. Another agent of change …. recently ousted Senate Majority Leader Tom “Milkdud” Daschle, now Co-Chairman of the Obama campaign.

Tom Ridge wiped the floor with Daschle on Fox’s Sunday program. Not that it’s difficult to do.

My guess is Holder has probably directed some serious money Obama’s way, or else he is a “special friend” of someone else who has. That’s usually the reason these incompetent hacks like Holder get hired — unless they’re a member of some identity group that the candidate is trying to pander to, like the Hispanic incompetent Patti Solis Doyle, who repeatedly mismanaged H. Clinton’s campaigns.

As for Obama’s promised “change” — we all know now what that means: more of the kind of corrupt and incompetent management the Dims brought us during the Carter and Clinton administrations.

He’s betting on the fact most voters don’t take the trouble to vet his advisors. He’s right. McCain plays the same game with Juan Hernandez, but it doesn’t work as well. Barry also has to be getting a little jumpy about throwing so many overboard, and may be trying to stem that tide.

Maybe Ed or someone else can correct or corroborate what I have to say. I’m trying to put two and two together in my memory and I don’t know if I’m right. I seem to remember that Holder was high in Reno’s DOJ and I was infuriated that he was anti 2nd Amendment. He believed it wasn’t an individual right. Now No. 2 – When W’s administation took over he, of course, got rid of Reno but Holder was left in his spot at the DOJ. I don’t know how long after that he remained. Unbelievable! Who’s the bigger fool, Obama or W?
