I would add, you go after Bin Laden like Reagan would have, you go out to kill him. and that’s the way you bring him back, in pieces. no soap box, no story, no defense, no justification, just dead. he freely and under no duress or coercion admitted repeatedly, his responsibility for 9/11, now he gets pure justice… the sooner the better, but I’ll wait as long as need be.

You people are selling Obama short.

This is actually his plan for rooting out Bin Laden. Once Osama is assured that he will get center stage in a show-trial that would never lead to a death sentence under either European or a democrat selected judge, he’s sure to surrender himself to the nearest friendly embassy.

A well-lawyered Bin Laden in “jail” can reach out to far more of his followers than the occasional pre-taped video that comes out of his current hiding place.

If bin Laden is ever captured, he should be taken to Ground Zero and executed before a thousand cameras, with Rudy Giuliani as master of ceremonies. A dose of his own medicine.

The Nuremberg trials were held when Nazi Germany was in total defeat. The Nazi’s were over and done with. Those not captured were dead. In other words, the war was over and the Allies won. So with the GWOT still going on, and our enemies still alive, how in the bloody H***, Obama, are you going to hold Nuremberg style trials? I think when we have gotten all of the intelligence from Osama we can get, a special ops team will take him out. That’s just my opinion.

Rush was talking about this for ages. I was hoping he – or one of his callers – would make the obvious point:
Bin Laden could get off on a technicality… just like William “Mainstream” Ayers.
I hope someone in the McCain campaign or the RNC picks up on this.

btw Rush consistently confused Obama/Osama. At one point he even referred to Obama as “Bin Laden.” I’m sure it wasn’t intentional, but I’m afraid Rush will take a lot of heat over this.
If we point out that Ted Kennedy made the same mistake, the MSM will simply point out that Kennedy has a brain tumor.

Rush needs to be more careful.

This just in from the U.K. Another example of how a law enforcement only approach doesn’t work:

Radical cleric Abu Qatada, described as “Osama bin Laden’s right hand man in Europe,” is to be released in the next 24 hours.

Qatada, who is accused of giving advice and support to terrorists including the leader of the September 11 hijackers, has been described in official documents as a “truly dangerous individual” who was “heavily involved, indeed at the centre of terrorist activities associated with al-Qa’eda.”

He has been convicted twice in Jordan in his absence for conspiracy to carry out bomb attacks on two hotels in Amman in 1998, and providing finance and advice for a series of bomb attacks in Jordan planned to coincide with the Millennium.

It was those convictions which allowed him to argue in the Appeal Court he would not get a fair treatment in his home country.

With the prospect of extradition removed, the Ministry of Justice has been forced to release him by the Special Immigration Appeals Commission.

The bail order was signed this afternoon and he is expected to be released from Long Lartin jail in Worcestershire tomorrow.

It sounds like typical Obama. He’s all for the big event trial until some terrorists are found guilty then Obambi will protest their executions as cruel and unusual punishment.

The Obama mentality probably would have the trial venue set in Marin County where Bin Laden would be found gnarly but misunderstood. Any attempts at whacking Bin Laden would be derailed by the pornmeister – Chief Justice of the 9th Circus which upon appeal to the Supreme Court Bin Laden would be freed, then given a care package (and maybe a kiss) by “Damn the Constitution” Kennedy citing that the World Court in the Hague knows best.

Okay, I confess, I have never watched The View. I’m sorry. It just does not come on at an hour when I’m generally watching the tube. When I heard about this video, I had to watch it. The video is a little over 24 minutes in length. You may not have time to watch the whole thing. I really encourage you to at least watch the first minute. It is so easy to visualize Michelle Obama as the next First Lady of the United States. I actually read somewhere today where somebody mentioned that she may be running for the presidency herself in twelve years or so. I can so see it. Anyway… watch it. At least the first minute or so…

I know that the democrats like to put on their little Kangaroo Court Show Trials, but prosecuting something that wouldn’t make even a halfway decent corpse is stretching things a little too far, even for Nancy Pelosi… Although Boxer might be dumb enough to wanna do it.
