Is the gratuitous shot at his buck-passing “whitey” demagoguery taken? Oh yes. Does it go right over his head? Oh yes. Fully deserved, although I confess to wincing at punishing him during a segment in which he comes out for nuclear power and concedes — despite yet another half-hearted attempt to dump blame on the right — that the Democrats’ Countrywide scandal should sting the nostrils of any ethical-minded voter. Fox News liberals: Can’t live with ‘em, can’t live without ‘em.

I bet he does not give back the differential in total interest over the life of the loan. The points are chump change…it stinks - no wonder there are so many tax cheats and cheating on other things, looking at our elected officials getting sweet heart deals, retirements and other benefits all on our back….

Yeah, Beckel was putting on his happy-be-reasonable face today because the Democrats are up to their necks in corruption, as usual and 90% responsible for four and five dollar gas prices.
It’s the lefties from the early eighties’ that have pushed every kind of anti-energy bill through congress, now America is energy strangled and it’s the Democrats’ fault. But the wimpy Republicans have been complicit, they want to jump on board this goofy save the planet…. starve the people campaign, so their hands are far from clean.
If the Republicans had an ounce of common sense their slogan would be ENERGY for AMERICA NOW! We cannot conserve our way to a strong economy, we need energy for that, cheap and plentiful energy.
With energy prices as high as they are that should be congress’s number-one priority, but is it? No, I’m sure the snail darter is still much more important in the average Democrat’s mind than the average American family.

But who is Fox going to get to replace them? Fox can’t get serious Democratic operatives to appear on its network because of the boycott. That’s been lifted somewhat as both Howard Dean and Barack Obama did Fox News Sunday, but generally is not the case.
So what are Michelle’s plans with Fox? I see they gave a show to Laura Ingraham, and it looks like MKH has taken over the Monday night politico chit-chat segment that MM used to have. We want MM!

Long term is correct. Our energy needs will escalate whether we cry and whine about it or not and Democrats in charge won’t produce any more of the oil we must have.
Nuke power is good for electricity but nothing beats oil for transportation.
