You’re wrong. There are many respectable, principled people on the side of legalization, and for the brush to be applied to me as a dope smoking hippie is the same as calling all priests child rapists. Is that appropriate? Of course not.

Probably because he called Obama’s White House the Black House, and probably because he insists on the Hussein Obama comments.

You really think it isn’t a fair statement to say that most people who support legalization take drugs?

If you don’t take drugs, then you’ll be the first person I’ve ever talked to who wants them legalized but doesn’t use drugs. And I’ve talked about this issue at length with a lot of people.

The reality is that those are your spokespeople. Whether you like it or not, they are the face of the legalization movement.

Unless there’s a corner store between their apartments and the polling place. All those doritos and beef jerky. Mmmm munchies.

When I was in college, I saw a “hippie” wearing raggedy clothing and had unkempt, red-colored hair. When he got to the parking lot…he drove away in a brand new black Audi A4.

I read this discussion/thread and didn’t see an explanation of why Indy Conservative is banned. I can see his/her posts on this topic are blunt and “in-your-face,” but I would appreciate a judicial explanation of where a line was crossed (or is it cumulative based on other posts?). I respect this forum and the moderator, and wouldn’t gratiutously offend anyone (perhaps pols excepted), but couldn’t it still happen anyway if I don’t know the where the line is or what an example of line-crossing looks like? Could we have some thoughts on that? Thanks.
