A niggling point here, but why do you suppose they came out and admitted it? It’s not like the world would have believed Israel.

My guess is 1. they vaporized someone near the top of the Hamas food chain and 2. there were too many angry witnesses left alive this time. Would a tipping point be too much to hope for?

My thought exactly.

It’s been shown over and over again that the majority of people will take the wore of Hamas/PLO/IJ/Hezbollah/ over the word of Israel on these matters.

What could possibly have prompted Hamas to admit that they did it to themselves while preparing for a terrorist operation?

I’d rather go to Christian heaven and listen to an eternity of boring harp music than go to Muslim heaven with its low-brow drunken debauchery.

Even better, what are those guys gonna do when they get to “Muslim heaven” and find out they mis-translated the Quran and it’s actually 72 white raisins? Man are they gonna be pissed!

In all seriousness, I feel sorry for the poor baby. Darn thing never had a chance to grow up. While it might have grown up to be another jihadi killer, I prefer to think it would have at least had a CHANCE to escape to the West and live a good peaceful life. No chance of that now. Actually, they did. But the AP spent most of the day spinning the Hamas line and only slowly starting to let out the real news, that Hamas blew up the house themselves. And today, no article from the AP. The info is buried in yet another anti-Israel article about “settlement” expansion. The “settlements” they’re talking about are apartments in a Jerusalem suburb.
