Yes, it’s them. Their musical evolution tracks the progress of Maverick’s campaign. First comes the bouncy exuberance of winning the primaries, then the contemplative period in which he plots strategy for the general, and now the hard, concentrated, exhausting business of relentless campaigning. Coming soon: “I Hate Myself for Loving You,” as the base finally reconciles itself to anyone-but-Obama, followed inevitably by “Don’t Fear the Reaper” and finally “Didn’t We Almost Have It All.”

I’ve seen it even more than that and enjoyed it each time. The problem with this equally awful video is that I no longer drop acid. We can be grateful for small favors, I guess – if the Obama camp did this the song might have been Puberty Love.

Something in me gets mad about this – mostly because it’s actually a pretty clever ploy and I’m just envious of it really. However, it’s actually pretty funny and I’ll probably never be a McCain supporter even if I do vote for him just to keep Obama out.
But, just when I’m wound up about it, I realize something. The vast majority of voters in November will have never seen this video and probably already have their minds up today who they’re voting for and that will not change. This is a drop in the ocean and these women are just wasting their stale Cheetos-scented breath.

I both agree and disagree. Yes, posting a video leaves one open for comments. However, must they be about body size, age or appearance? Many are upset when someone posts about McCain’s teeth, myself included. I just feel that resorting to personal attacks against someone on the basis of looks is pretty high schoolish. How about, they are really bad dancers…I could go with that.

If you are compelled to utter rudeness just because someone posts a youtube video, then you are a sad soul. Reread what you wrote and consider your posturing. Per your logic, posting a video of one’s self on the internet, just like families, friends and others do every day, makes one fair game for unprovoked attacks.
Maybe you just have a problem with women who don’t look the way you want them to. That’s mature. Would Michelle Malkin be less stalwart if she weren’t so easy on the eyes?

Alla, just wanted to thank you again for your small part in ensuring McShamnesty got the nomination. Not to take anything away from McCain, I’m sure he’s a good guy, and a hero definitely…but there were other candidates who actually “got it” as far as the true conservative philosophy. Throughout the primaries you ridiculed and chastised anyone who supported them, I wish you the best after the so called “messiah” wins in November. I’m sure they will serve only the best cuisine in the
communist reeducation camps. It seems we are doomed as a country to suffer the fate of so many societies before us, to drown under the weight of those who have learned that there is no reason for them to take responsibility for their own lives when they can vote themselves whatever funds they need from my and others productivity.
