As I said, McCain should demand an investigation of the oil speculators. Just as Soros manipulated oil and financial markets prior to the 2004 election, the hate-Bush crowd is having a field day with oil prices and commodity futures.

There is no excuse for ruining people’s lives to throw an election, and our domestic and global enemies have admitted that the end justifies the means.

The American people need a tutorial to explain to them what is going on. Cmon McCain, time for charts.

By joining in the name-calling, he’s legitimized the connection of current campaigns to comparison to past administrations which ultimately might make it harder to strike down the “McBush” slogan further down the road.

It’s a good line, since a lot of Obama’s proposals sound like what Carter did. The problem is that a lot of Obama’s voters were born after 1980, and don’t remember the distasters Carter caused.

What we need are some ads that quote an Obama proposal, then the results from when it was tried in the past.
“Yes We Can” = “No You Can’t Buy Gas”.
“No You Can’t Buy a House”
“No You Can’t Get a Job”

He’s on the right track. A little bland in his delivery (well, actually, a lot bland), but that may start to play better as the general campaign goes on, and Obama’s demagoguery starts to – hopefully – become more apparent.

I think he will be far better in townhall meetings than Obama, who seems like a smart guy, but sometimes too much like a smart-ass.

I’m thrilled he is calling Obama Carter’s Second Term…I have been telling that to all my Obama obsessed friends for weeks when they talk about McCain being Bush’s Third Term. It makes them angry, but I think it’s having an effect because they remember the misery of that time. We are in difficult times now, but Obama’s ideas could push us over the edge.

Indy, here’s one which goes back to Nov. 10.

Mort Sahl noted that when we had a population of only several million we produced leaders like Washington, Jefferson, Adams and Hamilton. Now with a population of 300 million, we have Bush, Rudy, Hillary, Kyl, Lott, Graham, Reid, Pelosi ….. the list is almost endless.

I do know that we have 300+ million people, of which of course not all are eligible to vote. For the sake of peace in the HA parlor, you can take full credit.
