How has any dictator taken power? First, they seek to convert, then they seek to control and destroy when they get enough power (e.g. popular support.) Ever see “Triumph of the Will?” All dictators seek power using emotional messages, all focused around some unifying topic, whether a common enemy (i.e. political opponents seen as the source of all ills, religious ‘infidels,’ any perceived source of unfairness, etc.) or a common desire that sounds promising, yet fails to pass any rational scrutiny (i.e. promising free lunches, neglecting history, etc.) Then after discrediting the current regime, and getting enough popular support and removing tools for dissent from those not yet converted, they strike. If they fail, they start again, in the shadows, building, waiting, watching for the time to be right again.
In the end, they all hate the same things: religion, speech, intellectual inquiry, anything that elevates or promotes the individual. [Paraphrased from In the Face of Evil]

Is this what the original “integrators” wanted? I don’t think so, but it is what they got.

1. I am right.
2. Since I am right, no possible rational reason can actually exist to oppose me.
3. Since no rational reason can exist to oppose me, people who oppose me must be Evil.

Therefore, if you argue with Oliver Willis, you must be evil. Since evil is a commodity (just stay with me here), all evil is interchangeable, and all evil things are the fault of people who oppose me.

That’s how he can blame YOU for church burnings if you don’t agree with his “white privilege” generalizations.

It is, in fact, a form of mental illness.

I saw a brief thing on TV the other day about the “forced busing” of public school children and the riots it sparked in South Boston. It was a noble idea at the time I guess, but what a mess that turned out to be. Now public schools in a lot of areas are more segregated than they were before “forced” integration.

When I was in third grade, Prince George’s County was forced to institute busing. Half of my school and half of an inner-city school “swapped” places. The social problems this caused was enough that we ended up as part of the flight out of the school system. Parents whose kids were taking a 45 minute ride on a bus to get to school moved in behind and within a very few years, the system was virtually all black.

Forget his former pastor, forget his dubious friends; attacking them only makes him stronger. His politics is at odds with most Americans: that’s what needs to be shouted from the rooftops.

Getting people to vote against Obama isn’t enough. You have to give them a reason to vote for McCain and all he’s done is present himself as an older crankier version of Obama. Outside Iraq, there is very little difference between the two and this is the important part on issues that matter to the potential pool of Hillary voters.

I’m afraid that the Left’s insistence that all who don’t get in line and follow their whole socialist program are an evil racists may end up having similar undesirable long term effects.

Many folks who opposed busing in the 1970s did so because they wanted their children to attend nearby schools with their lifelong friends from the neighborhood. This got branded as racist. Now folks who want lower taxes or a victory in Iraq will get the same treatment.

Will there be a voters’ equivalent of White Flight? Will we all be worse off 30 years from now as a result?

By white privilege I assume how they mean I had to work hard as balls to get into the County High School for the top 1% of students while a B+ Spanish student was able to get into the city school for top 1% that meet our quota?

Or white privilege how I didn’t get any federal help to go to College.

Our country gives more to minorities then it does to all those “Eeeeevil White People” How much love did these people lack as children that they hate themselves so much?

I think for a week after the election I will take a vacation so that I don’t get the effects of ‘White privilege” when Obama loses and we have another chapter in the Newark riots.

Exactly, it’s ironic when people start expounding on that “invisible backpack of privilege” that white guys carry around, no-one bothers to mention how hard these people work to get where they are.

If you can run a college on it, and get numbskull whitey parents to pay through the nose for the privilege of sending their spawn there, you can win an election.

I’ve been wondering if all of this nonsense is resulting in support for White supremacy groups by privileged young White people?

This is the goal of people like Ayers and Dohrn and Obama. This has been the long goal of the Left: to stir up the “proletariat” to “agitate for change”–in this case, black and white against each other. And such people are succeeding.

Funny how those so easily manipulated never think about the fact that freedom turning into slavery and domestic peace turning into fratricide are indeed examples of Change.

That is the kind of change which these people will bring.

You can’t say anything in public, but you can certainly cast a vote in private in response to all the many decks of race cards being tossed around lately.

Of course, you’ll only have a private vote as until the democrats make your voting record public information.

You can’t escape it now in academia. I can’t wait to see what happens in a few weeks, when I have to take a class in multiculturalism. A cursory look at that syllabus is already very concerning.

One of the most important and effective organizations working against this forced brainwashing in our colleges and universities is FIRE – the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education. They are doing a remarkable job. I contribute to them regularly and strongly encourage everyone to at least visit their site and subscribe to their Newsletter.

For those with kids in college or soon to be, their searchable Campus Spotlight Freedom Resource will let check on how far down the “forced indoctrination rat hole” your college or university has fallen.

This is truly evil, evil stuff.
