Video: Hannity on the Obama-Khalidi connection

We have written on the network of radicals attached to Barack Obama’s political and public career, and perhaps none carry the impact of Rashid Khalidi. Barack Obama tried to shrug off Khalidi as a person he “knew” from Khalidi’s days at the University of Chicago, but the connections go much deeper than that. As Daniel Pipes explains in this clip to Sean Hannity, Khalidi and Obama have raised money for each other — and Khalidi’s connections to the PLO demonstrate just how radical Obama’s circle gets:
Khalidi, a Yasser Arafat toady, got $75,000 through Obama and Weather Underground terrorist William Ayers from the Woods Foundation, and later Khalidi returned the favor by hosting a fundraiser for Obama. Obama “lavished praise” on Khalidi in 2003 when the former PLO functionary took a job at Columbia University, according to an LA Times article last year. It’s hardly ancient history, and Khalidi is hardly an acquaintance.
How long will it take before Obama claims that Khalidi “isn’t the man he knew”? (via Soren Dayton)

Holy crap…is there a single sane, rational, true American in his circle of friends? I’m beginning to think not.

His life in Chicago is gonna kill Obama (politically) and he has no one but himself to blame for this.

Obama is going to need another bus, the current one can’t move anymore for all the bodies piled beneath it.
Bishop on June 7, 2008 at 10:57 AM
Sooo…. let me understand something here.
It’s OK for a Senator in the United States to have both financial and idealogical connections to known terrorists, and known terrorist organizations. But NOW that he is going to be the next President of the United States there’s a problem?
KMC1 on June 7, 2008 at 10:58 AM
And yeah, what flipflop said; why does it seem that EVERYBODY connected to Obama is a sleaze bag?
Bishop on June 7, 2008 at 10:58 AM
Who said it was “ok”?
Bishop on June 7, 2008 at 11:00 AM
In Illinois he can get away with being such a “poor judge of character”. But no, I do not consider it OK for a Senator to be in so deep with people like Ayers and Khalidi. But if nothing criminal is going on the people of Illinois are free to elect a man with such incredibly “good judgement”.
NotCoach on June 7, 2008 at 11:02 AM
The story can’t possibly any longer be about Obama’s numerous radical connections and associations, and who Obama is. That much has been ascertained, at least in the blogs, if not yet publicly in the mainstream.
The coming story is just how hard the Democrat party and the MSM is trying to push/support this known social and political extremist.
This is a story for George Will or Novak–somebody with mainstream exposure.
Just why are the Democrats pushing an extreme radical for President? What kind of government do the Democrats and the MSM want for this country? Flush out these radicals and socialists and communists. Make them “out” themselves. These are the kinds of questions McCain and the Republicans and the right-wing blog ought to be continually asking.
This latest revelation is sinister and disturbing. But that it will get the same treatment by the left as all the other revelations is what we should focus on now.

But it will be by November.

I dunno ’bout that, I think his legions of brain dead followers either won’t care about or will approve of his relations with these people of devious character and aspirations.

The list keeps growing, yet it seems to not effect anyone of the Obamapods. It bothers us and Sean and others that see Obama for what he is, but what would it take to get a notice from Obama supporters? I find it frightening.
Conservatives R Us on June 7, 2008 at 11:06 AM
The only people who fit your description would be the gullible, ignorant liberals who desperately need to have “a black President”, and for whom he represents the final chapter of the 1960s civil rights movement.
No, really. I talk to these people, and this is what they say.

There is an old Indian saying that “You cannot wake a man pretending to be asleep.” That pretty much describes the Dims and the MSM. You can show them this stuff all you want. They pretend not to notice. (And we know they don’t care.)

Funny how Barry only knows these people (terrorists) through his kids. His “kids” have some very troubling friends that are intent on destroying nations.

Khalidi seems no worse then Jimmuh Carter.
It’s just not surprising, and it won’t make a difference. The Left are in rapture, and nothing will change their minds*
*I use the term loosely.

You guys are preaching to the chior on this.
When Joe Klein axed Khalidi up here people, were outraged, jews included like my father and his colleagues. He saw it as a 1st Amendment violation, completely.
Liberals and those supporting Obama don’t care about this, they see Sean Hannity as a wingnut loon foaming at the mouth about a ton of nothing, old news.

In Obamaworld, all that’s necessary is to be a “distinguished professor” or “scholar” and *poof!* terrorists are magically reborn as respectable, if not eminent, citizens.
Sol Stern tell us:
In 1997, Ayers and his mentor Maxine Greene persuaded Teachers College Press to launch a series of books on social justice teaching, with Ayers as editor and Greene serving on the editorial board (along with Rashid Khalidi, loyal supporter of the Palestinian cause and the Edward Said Professor of Arab Studies at Columbia University). Twelve volumes have appeared so far, including one titled Teaching Science for Social Justice.
The article is a must read if one wants to get an inkling of what Barry’s ideas on education must be, seeing as how he has collaborated with Ayers, lauds Khalidi, and found them worthy of funding. Indeed, he should be specifically asked to defend or deny these ideas, one by one, in excruciating detail.
Buy Danish on June 7, 2008 at 12:53 PM
^^ Oops, I meant Obama must be asked to defend or “reject” these ideas. Of course he will deny them!

If we had a functioning press corps, Obama wouldn’t have made it to the Senate, not to mention the Presidential campaign. He’s got more negatives than a 6thy-grade math textbook.
And if we had functioning trolls, we wouldn’t have KMC1 dropping a hilarious objection to an argument no one was making.

Not if you are a Democrat. They prefer racist, bigoted, terrorist connections. It makes them comfortable to be amongst their own.

How is it exactly that CNN et al plan to benefit from a President O? Why the media railroading of a candidate so obviously out of touch? Bush was the best thing for these media hucksters… how can O be any more of a story seller? Unless they already know about future tornadoes of news he will stir up once in.
leftnomore on June 7, 2008 at 1:45 PM
These campaigns are becoming so surreal. I think we are all desensitized to some degree.
On the one hand, Marxist Hillary with her Chinese connections competing with another Marxist and his terrorist connections with a name, of all things, Obama Hussein.
And then we have our great hope, John McCain.
Pictures are all over the internet of Hillary holding her glass of whiskey looking like a drunken fool and Obama spreading his legs so the camera can get a good shot of his package. These two pictures alone would have been enough to sink any other candidate 20 years ago,, but now, today, in this age,,,? Just a drop in the ocean of insanity that this tiring campaign has become.
And then we have McCain. Our great hope.
John McCain.
This is what it’s all come to.
I’m sure I’ll feel better tomorrow.

Just think how surprised the Obama voters will be if hes elected. There is not a bus big enough for them all.
Farmer62 on June 7, 2008 at 2:25 PM
In Obamaland nothing is what it appears….up is down, black is white, Christian is Muslim, yes is no. it’s all a mash up of weirdness, madness, bedlam, insanity.
And I still don’t like Hillary’s pumas and cougars….I know they are voting McCain which is beyond fabulous, but I need time to welcome them to the fold. It’s going to take a while, I don’t do well with old biddies and militant feminists.

This is who Obama is, but the sheeple don’t care. They just want change.
oakpack on June 7, 2008 at 4:44 PM
Because for the last 7 years, day in and day out, they have been fed a steady stream of disinformation and propaganda about how hellishly bad everything is.
drunyan8315 on June 7, 2008 at 6:26 PM
Truly pathetic. He could be photographed by Stars & Stripes having anal sex with an asian child sex slave, with a smouldering crack pipe in his mouth, in front of Osama bin-Laden, in an opium den, repeating “alla huackbar”, and people would still genuflect to this guy, just to topple the GOP. Truly pathetic.
Virus-X on June 7, 2008 at 7:16 PM
LGF points out an old LBJ quote. Anyone believing Obama’s associations are insignificant should consider how they will affect his decisions where the information is incomplete.
An Obamanation will be an abomination.
desertdweller on June 7, 2008 at 7:36 PM
I hope that your point is a criticism of the brain-dead media, who can’t distinguish fact from opinion.
Did anyone else pick up on the information that the Ayers-Khalidi Woods Foundation support was occuring in 2001 and 2002, the very time when America was coming out of its snooze that Islamic terrorism is a deadly threat.
Ayers and Khalidi “enjoy” special privilege in academia, and their propaganda is infecting students with deceptive propaganda and disinformation. They are symptomatic of the rot that threatens critical thinking because they champion anti-American philosophy while not permitting or offering a counterweight of ideas. Like Ward Churchill, they use their positions and (in some cases supposed) credentials to indoctrinate the naive.
It’s too bad that Hannity is viewed with such skepticism by the Left. He is being treated as a Cassandra, whose warnings are ignored though they should be heeded. If other media outlets are ignoring such information or not examining its relevance, then they have ceased to serve a function in informing the electorate.
onlineanalyst on June 7, 2008 at 8:10 PM
Obama is now “officially” the candidate for potus representing the Democrat Party. Game on!
If other media outlets are ignoring such information or not examining its relevance, then they have ceased to serve a function in informing the electorate.
onlineanalyst on June 7, 2008 at 8:10 PM
Spot on as usual onlineanalyst… All of these relationships with “really bad people that really don’t like America” have been vetted by the NEW MEDIA; I can’t think of one single revelation regarding Obama that was brought forward by the MSM. The MSM (with all of it’s components) have ceased to serve a function in informing the electorate; in fact, the MSM actually manufactured phony evidence regarding a Republican candidate in an all out attempt to control the outcome of a presidential election in 2004. Not only have the MSM failed to perform the designed duties, the MSM has been busted committing acts of treason by leaking classified top-secret operations while our country is at war.
What the f***… What are we going to do about this? Talk about getting your eyes poked out while handcuffed! The MSM has been allowed to operate “above the law” for so many years now, we have created an absolute freak-n monster. This is pure bullshit. Our sons & daughters are fighting and dying to protect our freedom and liberty, and we allow this crap to go on unfettered.
Keemo on June 7, 2008 at 8:59 PM
Unfortunately there are a number of people who see the Palestinians as the underdogs and pushed to terrorism by Israel. It ain’t there fault ya know, it’s those bad Joos making them do it.
aikidoka on June 7, 2008 at 9:00 PM
You are correct, and most of them seem to be in the freak-show parades and demonstrations in San Francisco, as captured by zombie’s photgraphic genius. Like Nancy Pelosi, they are just another “treat”. (Speaking of whom: Canada has reached a trade agreement with Colombia while our own Pelosi-led Congress sets back international relationships with Queenie’s refusal to back the administration’s efforts to engage our nation with a similar agreement. Check out the powerline thread.)

That was a compelling report with another disturbing connection that will be continually minimized by Obama when pressed on it and never followed up on by the mainstream media. That said, however…
(This is a warning, disavowing me of inducing any outlandish side-effects from bringing up the following point:)
The intro and outro music of that Hannity segment was a little too reminiscent of “Chocolate Rain.”
(You were warned..)

Text: Send Obama a map of Jerusalem. Outline the boundary line, and place an X where the US embassy will be. Have him sign and date it with witnesses from the Israeli govt. Then you have some credibility to his statement
Connie on June 8, 2008 at 2:55 AM
When did they ever do that?
Their purpose has always been to seek power and influence over the masses, whilst making a profit. Any stance taken by an individual outlet has always been designed to control a particular demographic, taking into account what stance would “sell” well with said group.

Take the hit-and-run incident in Hartford, Ct. as a metaphor for BHO’s friends and supporters.
-The hit-and-run driver represents BHO’s inner circle of friends and the havoc they have created.
-The witnesses who callously looked the other way and refused to aid the stricken victim represent BHO’s slavish supporters who totally ignore his mistakes, insincerity, extremist friends and ruthlessness.
MaiDee on June 8, 2008 at 7:57 AM
BHO’s not going to be swift-boated. He’s gonna be “battleshipped” by all these exposures. This campaign will be about two things. Obama trying to hide who he is and McCain trying to show who he is.

What is it with Democrats and their “conversations”?
Just because someone is articulate doesn’t mean they are smart or correct; and in the same fashion, someone who isn’t articulate is not necessarily ignorant or stupid. Any adult who has spent significant time outside of the shadows of the Ivory Tower knows this.
In academia, from which Obama heralds, the ability to make a persuasive argument is equivalent, or even superior, to making a logical or correct argument. Being correct doesn’t matter when truth or reality is relative.
