Video: George Galloway pretty excited about Obama and solving “this Palestine problem”

It’ll only take six days to do it, he hints, letting the Arab faithful watching at home fill in the blanks. See-Dub’s already added some helpful context by posting archived video of him shilling for Hezbollah via a satellite hook-up from Westminster, but that’s minor treachery compared to this classic of him congratulating them in Beirut for taking on Israel. Watch a minute or so of this one, too, in which he encourages the audience towards jihad on Al Jazeera, to see that his very deliberate, halting speaking style here isn’t unusual for him. Whenever he shows up on an Arab channel he keeps things nice and slow for the translator, to make sure the loyal viewers will absorb every carefully chosen word.
Charles Johnson has your exit question: “Now wherever did Galloway get the idea that Obama is his kind of guy?” It’s curious, isn’t it? Another verminous terrorist apologist, laboring under the assumption that Obama will be better for his cause than McCain. Maybe he just hasn’t heard the AIPAC speech yet that finally “convinced” Hamas there’s no difference between the two. Click the image to watch.

Palestine has oil?

+1
Can’t stand this guy. Wasn’t he assoc w/ oil for food corruption or something also? Memory is sketchy…
Spirit of 1776 on June 5, 2008 at 8:33 PM
Sounds just like Harry Reid, but with a more entertaining accent.
VolMagic on June 5, 2008 at 8:34 PM
The next generation iPhone will do that.
amerpundit on June 5, 2008 at 8:35 PM
This goofy albeit eloquent prick uses the same technique as Rev Wright. He tells his audience what they want to hear.

“Wasn’t he assoc w/ oil for food corruption or something also? Memory is sketchy…”
The Telegraph made the allegation and lost a libel suit on it. The Chirstian Science Monitor thought they had found evidence, but they turned out to be sophisticated forgeries. There have been other incidents as well. His claims that zero money changed hands is dubious imho. He relationship with Saddam was disgusting nonetheless.
Dr. Manhattan on June 5, 2008 at 8:41 PM
With Galloway, just follow the money trail…that’s where he’ll be.
d1carter on June 5, 2008 at 8:42 PM
Hmmmmm. Does he know something about Obama that we don’t?
29Victor on June 5, 2008 at 8:42 PM
But he will never live down this:
Dr. Manhattan on June 5, 2008 at 8:42 PM
This guy makes my skin crawl.
TroubledMonkey on June 5, 2008 at 8:43 PM
Thanks!
Spirit of 1776 on June 5, 2008 at 8:45 PM
Galloway doesn’t oppose imperialism per se, he opposes non-Communist imperialism.
Dr. Manhattan on June 5, 2008 at 8:46 PM
Is he a Muslim convert? A lower form of life would be hard to find, he typifies the progressive tact for argument on virtually any position; if you play to your audience you need not facts or morality. Sounds just like…All Hail the Messiah!!!!
dmann on June 5, 2008 at 8:48 PM
Probably one of the most freaked out vids I’ve ever seen.
This man makes Ahmendinejad sound like Mother Theresa.
This, with the headline thread about the Ahmendinejad statement in Japan, is enough to make me go buy another box of .308s.

Yep, George Galloway would fit right into Obama’s enormous collection of ‘Leftist Anti-American Terrorist-Loving Action Figures’…looks like he’s about to collect the whole set! It’s just a matter of time before he’s got the ‘Pinter, Fisk, Monibot and Gore’ figures with the ‘Full Scale Global Meltdown Action Headquarters’ station…what fun toys he has!
AUINSC on June 5, 2008 at 8:49 PM
I don’t know which I dislike more, this idiot, or Olbergoebbels. I think it’s a tie…………..
adamsmith on June 5, 2008 at 8:50 PM
Various other quotations:
Wikipedia says:
Galloway has consistently argued against confusing anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism, and has condemned anti-Semitism in unequivocal terms.
He’s one of those types.
Dr. Manhattan on June 5, 2008 at 8:53 PM
Six days is an obvious analogy to the Six Day Way….in reverse. He believes the Arab people can take down the entire ME in six days. Scary stuff that. How is it that evangelical ministers get run out of Dodge for hate speech and this mental defective can spew whatever hate he wishes?
Limerick on June 5, 2008 at 8:54 PM
Six Day War….get a grip Lim
Limerick on June 5, 2008 at 8:54 PM
I wish him a full recovery after whatever disastrous calamity might overtake him very very soon. If recovery is not possible his family will have my condolences.
BL@KBIRD on June 5, 2008 at 8:55 PM
Prepare yourself Comrade for the Six Day Way. /Russian accent
I thought it was a reference to how God created the world in six days until I realised… duh hes talking about the Six Day War.
It seems to me that Galloway simply recognises Obama’s passivity and figures the Arab world could launch an all out attack on Israel, which will not have the full US support it needs under an Obamarama Preidency.
aengus on June 5, 2008 at 9:03 PM
That rat bastard is right, though. Iran can send the US and Europe back to the stone age with two or three EMP bombs detonated by missile over our territory.
Then what?
stonemeister on June 5, 2008 at 9:06 PM
Nuke Mordor.
aengus on June 5, 2008 at 9:12 PM
What international scumwad and dirtbag has not endorsed Obamajebus?
Sekhmet on June 5, 2008 at 9:13 PM
stonemeister on June 5, 2008 at 9:06 PM
The entire and total destruction of Iran, nothing but vaporized flesh and glass!
dmann on June 5, 2008 at 9:13 PM
Exit question: Is he too ignorant or too ideologically obstinate to say that the government of Israel meets in Jerusalem, not Tel Aviv?
calbear on June 5, 2008 at 9:21 PM
Obama’s new thing is that everyone must compromise for there to be peace in the mideast. It’s like he’s talking to a bunch of children, telling them all to get along, when the truth is Israel is already so much more willing to make peace than the Palestinians. So the idea of each side giving a little is glib pap. It’s pablum. What kind of idiot will eat that up. An Obama supporter.
Paul-Cincy on June 5, 2008 at 9:29 PM
That’s the first thing I thought also.
baldilocks on June 5, 2008 at 9:38 PM
Or a Bush supporter, considering that Bush been feeding the same slop for years and no mainstream conservative publication has called him on it.
aengus on June 5, 2008 at 9:41 PM
Oh, you smooth talker, you! Wouldn’t make me feel any better, though, while I’m out toiling in the fields, cooking bison on a spit, learning the abacus.

Count your blessings dude, whats left of the Iranian population will have to learn to like sand!
dmann on June 5, 2008 at 9:56 PM
Nothing new from this POS of a person. Galloway is just echoing every terrorist, and Arab organization in support of their new found American messiah.
byteshredder on June 5, 2008 at 10:12 PM
well seems this guy really thinks a lot of Obama. I can not say the same.
nursemorgan1 on June 5, 2008 at 10:16 PM
This arguement has been going on for how long now?
And a muslim to Christianity convert is going to solve it?
Uh… OK.
Hog Wild on June 5, 2008 at 10:19 PM
The last time the Arab world tried to solve the “Palestinian problem” in six days, it didn’t quite turn out the way they’d hoped. Nor did it a few years later in ‘73 when they actually put forth a much better and longer-lived effort. And the only problem I recall being “solved” over the Bekaa Valley in ‘82 was that of the existence of a Syrian Air Force.
So unless this seditious Quisling is suggesting the Arab world finally open its collective borders to assimilate the Palestinian population into its own, history demonstrates that any day the Arab world invests in solving the “Palestinian problem” will almost certainly prove a costly one.

Nutty George angling for a cabinet position ?
Sec of State George. Has a flame throwing
sound to it. We’re sooo screwed.

Hey Georgie, you and your wife cashed in on all that oil you purchased from Saadam?
The guy is a dirty slimeball.
GarandFan on June 5, 2008 at 11:04 PM
Gorby’s fault?
Connie on June 5, 2008 at 11:55 PM
NEWS FLASH!
Mr Galloway, when Islamofaschists give up their glorious
plans of world domination, and stop trying to ram Islam
done everyone’s throats!
And Iran,Syria stops calling for America,Israel to be
vapourized, maybe then and only then, there would be
peace!
But,this has been going on for around 2000 years,by
them!

Who Obama is and what he believes in is no secret. Everything is available to learn about him. Anyone who votes for him then later makes a lame statement like, “I never knew he believed that…” is a fool.
America is willingly ignorant to the numerous dangers an Obama presidency poses.
If he’s elected, you can count down to Armageddon.

I thought Galloway went away, but no…
“If the Arabs wanted to solve this Palestine problem, they could do so in six days.” That’s better than God’s creation time-line, so…sign Barry up! Who needs old men and old deities?
Christine on June 6, 2008 at 12:25 PM
They tried that once, no? How’d that work out?
Akzed on June 6, 2008 at 12:47 PM
He does make a good point in his first argument, albeit I doubt he means to follow it through in the fashion that most people here would. The Arab world could indeed ’solve’ the Palestinian problem, but it’s just too damn good a problem to want to solve..
